It's not the "sharing" economy. It's the "renting" economy

So she opens the talk by listing a large number of other names, which kind of acknowledges your point.
She then goes on to talk about the economy as being the use of "idle capacity". Use of "idle capacity" is pretty much the definition of "renting". But no one was running around in the 90s calling Blockbuster and car leasing "the rental economy", so I'm not sure why it would now suddenly be the "rental economy" when it's really just smaller players doing the same things?

It's part of the circular economy you'll own nothing and be happy. It's being implemented through the UN sdgs. It's now being implemented around the world under the guise of recycling on steroids by both left and right political parties. The UN sdgs and the circular economy. The circular economy you'll own nothing and be happy. The sharing economy is apart of the circular economy. They break it up. One is the recycling on steroids the other you'll own nothing and be happy
