The video passes by Camp Foster toward the end. Nice memories for me, I had three tours on Okinawa when I was an active duty US Marine. Had my bicycle with me and rode 58 from Futenma and Kinser to Hedo Point, many times. Okinawa is a beautiful island and its people are very kind and welcoming. Thoroughly enjoyed Okinawa.
@@touringjapanukandbeyond It was so peaceful to see your video. I've been dreaming of Japan ever since I was in high school. This was almost 10 years ago. I can't wait to go one day. Do I also need a visa if I'm a USA citizen?
Great video! I lived there from 1986-1989. I have a video on my channel that my father and I took of some of the same areas shown in this one. I wish we had the technology that is available today back then! Thanks

I've never been so nostalgic about a place I've never been to. Or maybe the calm music made me cry lol.

No you don't need a visa, everything is back to normal and you will be able to travel without worrying about doing any off the covid processes too.
Maybe because of the traffic and car sprawl
@@Kraed3 Maybe. I have no idea. Can't explain it.

@@touringjapanukandbeyond I did! A couple more restaurants and the Nitori furniture store 17:27. I miss Okinawa.
