i tried to get this out as early as i could but i had to beat terraria first to play through the update and that took like a week

the first time i encountered shimmer i had a maniac attack where i started to transmute everything
I threw in the bottomless water bucket to get the bottomless shimmer

when i encountered shimmer, i basically didn't know it was a thing, and i panicked when i started to sink in the water A LOT, almost closed the game

if you actively fish in a playthrough, you end up with stacks of bass to the point of getting annoyed from getting it

He has shroomite armor and a picksaw,he obviously has just defeated golem,he doesnt have access to The Zenith

You might want to reroll your Picksaws modifier, that thing mines slower than a copper pick.

I found this spectacular place draped in giant glowing mushrooms! Everything was blue! I was picking some of the mushrooms I found next to a glistening blue lake, when one of the mushrooms snapped at me and swam away! I want to give it a taste of its own medicine, and give it a good chompin'! What I mean is, you gotta get it for me! Did you know there's magical islands that float up high in the sky? Bet you didn't! They say angels live in the sky, and I believe those angels have fins and gills and swim around! I believe you must catch one for me! Na na na na na na na Bat-FISH! That means go digging underground, fetch it, and bring it to me! Ow! Don't get near me! I got stung by a Bloody Man-O-War! In case you're not smart enough to know what that is, it's the most menacing jellyfish in all of CompatibleWithIago! Go to that rotten crimson and catch it if you dare! Normally I could care less if I see fishbones floating in the water underground, but this one was swimming! What, you thought that only human skeletons still flailed about in CompatibleWithIago? Get it for me so I can stick it in someone's bed! The subterranean jungles of CompatibleWithIago have the weirdest things! Like, there's this fish I saw that looked just like a giant bumblebee! I'm allergic to bees, so you have to catch it for me! I bet it'd taste like a tuna and honey sandwich! Out in the forest, I was fishing right? Well guess what! A bunny hopped up to me! Then another one hopped up, and another... suddenly I'm surrounded by bunnies! One even swam up to me from the water, but it had no legs! I fell outta my chair in surprise and all the bunnies scurried off! I want that bunny fish as a pet, so you better catch it for me! Pronto!

It'd be fun if you could only do it with the golden fishing pole and golden critters...like, *any* golden critters, not just bugs, but they'd still have to be golden
and in return, you could get some pretty cool loot!
@@damienearl8302 I think the only reasonable bait would be fealings. Maybe throwing your golden fishing rod in turns it into a shimmer rod or something

In the forest, the slimes are kinda gross. Slimefish are even more so! I don't want to swim with slimes, so yoink one out of the water for me!

The last time I was playing terraria I was almost done with the game but I really needed to find the shimmer biome so I searched everywhere in the jungle and underground until I created a new one until I found it easily…I was very pissed

Its a little more complicated. I use flipaclip, which isnt the greatest program for stuff like this. The only way i could achieve the star effect is from post processing. Copy and pasting sets of animation is only possible thru the frames viewer, which is copy and pasting frames. I cant make multiple copy pastes or edits onto already existing frames, so the only option is to painfully do it by hand. This is why i use premiere or other editing programs to achieve this look, which doesnt look very good, but it works. Also im really stupid and cant figure out how to make that space shimmer look. Sorry if it didnt turn out well
