Again those are fantastic . Sure wish Tangent made more N scale . Keep up the video's . Enjoy seeing your MKT Locomotives and rolling stock as well as your layout . Fantastic .......
Hi, Steve! I appreciate you watching! I know a lot of modelers would love to see Tangent do some N-scale stuff. It seems they keep pretty busy enough releasing HO items! I’m sure plenty of N-scalers have their fingers crossed. -Mike
I'm also a fan of covered hoppers and I currently model the CB&Q and UP circa 1969. I ordered one of these from my local hobby shop and I'm looking forward to it. I'm also considering an ATSF as those things really got around. Thanks for your comments.
Hello! I appreciate you watching! The Santa Fe cars are pretty snazzy as well. I plan on getting a few of those. It’s good to see Tangent producing more of the ATSF cars- with that obviously being a more popular road to model. I’ll be looking forward to seeing what other roadnames Tangent puts out with future releases! -Mike
Happy Thanksgiving Mike I got my track lay and write now starting doing scenery I also get put back my budings sorry haven't send pictures of my layout it's on my do soon nice cars in mkt grain cars my favorite and others to
Hi, Taylor. Happy (late) Thanksgiving to you as well! I had a few days to catch up on some video work, so I’ll have some new episodes around the corner. I am still enjoying the new Katy hoppers. The red adds a lot of color to the layout! -Mike
Very handsome models of the Pullman high side 4427 covered hopper cars and Tangent Scale Models produces some of the best ho scale rolling stock available, I will be purchasing some of these hopper car models for myself in the future. I really like the MKT red scheme, and I also have my sight focused on purchasing the Milwaukee Road (yellow), Atsf and the C&NW examples of the 4427 hopper cars as these hoppers are fantastic and well detailed.
Tangent sure knows how to do it right! I agree with you…the Santa Fe and CNW ones are nice as well. They’re also on my shopping list! I keep saying I have too many hoppers, but Tangent just keeps cranking them out and I can’t resist! Haha! Mike
Hi, Brian! Thanks for watching! I’m glad to hear you’re enjoying your hoppers, too! They’re sure hard to beat. I plan on collecting a few of all of them! My grain trains just keep getting longer. Ha. -Mike
The other models in the run are just as nice as the MKT cars you just got. The Santa Fe and CNW cars would look good on your layout, but I also recommend looking at the 2 leased schemes they offered this time from Cargill and Corn Products Producers. I have a couple of each and they're all beautiful cars
I completely agree...they're all so nice! I've been needing some additional Santa Fe rolling stock, so I was glad to see those as well. They keep cranking out these superb models and it's hard to keep up! They've definitely found a good market. -Mike
I've never purchased any Tangent cars, but this is tempting. I have always read and heard good reviews on their models. I'll be at the show in Joplin this Saturday and if someone has them to offer, I may pick one up. I can remember seeing plenty of Katy red down in McAlester, Oklahoma back in the very early 70's. I do have two Katy hoppers in red, with one being a cylindrical type from Atlas, and the other an Athearn blue box.
Hi! How was the Joplin show? I had intended on making the trip over for that, but was caught up with some home projects I had to get done before the cold set in. I had a couple of those red Atlas hoppers a few years back. They also produced a nice green one. I’m hoping they do another run of both! -Mike
The show was very well attended. They even had vendors set up in the museum area. I picked up some HO Scale Classic Metal Works vehicles, two 1967 Dodge Chargers for $3 each, and a Roco model of Dodge pickup truck from the 70's for $3. All still new in the box. I model the era from the mid 60's to 1980, so for me this was a great score. Didn't see any of the new Tangent hoppers, but seen lots of MKT in the Walthers Mainline and Proto 1000 line. @@MainTrack
I’d love to see the C&NW cars hit the layout! I see many of the prototype versions still serving their purpose, albeit most of them have been patched or heavily weathered
Hello! Don’t worry…haha…I’ve got some of the CNW ones on my list, too! They’re all very nice…you can’t stop with just one! Ha. The Katy interchanged a decent amount of traffic with the CNW at Kansas City, so those hoppers would look tight at home. -Mike
@@MainTrack just in time for the holidays too! I’ve got a C&NW boxcar w/grain hatches on preorder from bowser, but they might be a little out of your era. Build date reads 9-49
@TheMainTrack , Nice Mike , the tangent products are very nice . On another note how about your Walthers switchers that burnt out , did you get that sorted out with Walthers as I haven't seen update from you. Cheers Mike thanks for sharing..
Hello! I am still waiting on my switchers to get back to me. I sent those off a few weeks back after I made the episode. I expected it would be a few weeks. I’m looking forward to getting those back and will definitely update everyone!
@@MainTrack well let's hope they make it back on the track soon , take care Mike , I'll definitely be watching for the update , love your subdivision there , very nice , Cheers .
Great review and nicely filmed too. Thanks a lot for sharing!
Thank you, Michael! I’m glad you found the video to be helpful! -Mike

Great video update as always!
Devin, you never know what might show up on these rails! Those blue hoppers do look pretty sharp!
