The language, omg, it sounds so beautiful. reminds me of French sounds (i don't know anything about French, so don't judge if i'm wrong lol)
Moroccan here, yes we do it all the time, you buy your own meat from any butcher you want and they cook it for you, more popular is going to the port, buing your own fishes or crabs you pick yourself from the fishermen and take it to the dozen places inside the port or around it to grill it or cook it anyway you want. also it's usualy cheaper than just going to a normal restaurant and ordering the same thing. The national roads are filled with gas stations with butchers, litle gardens for kids to play and places like this to cook the meat you bought for you, in Morocco gas station food is amazing lmao, stoping at some of these places always made 8h road trips much easier
@@Yanzdorloph hmm, very very interesting. thank you for the precious information. I think I would get just a bit anxious because it seems the seasoning is a bit random. Lastly. is haggling common at these places or in Marrocos in general? or merchants will be offended?
@@md_coelho1499 there's no haggling, haggling is only for the old medinas buying cloths or furniture, or souvenir from there not food, and not really a thing in normal places, I lived in Morocco for 20years and haven't really haggeled on anything, maybe just once or twice buying a fake Nike. they charge you for cooking and the side dishes + tea or water or cola or smtg. I mean yeah, you give them instructions how you want it to be done and what you want with it...etc it' usualy just BBQ with it's known moroccan spices not random spices. for the fish as there are too many types, that whre ppl get too detailed with their instructions jaja.
Yes it is custom. We do the same for fish, you buy it from the ports and bring it to a grill or the nearest restaurant(with a small fee of course) and they prepare it. It isn't cumbersome at all infact more handy because the meat is fresh and they don't need get their own meat to sell which might go bad plus it is much cheaper. Brazillian fan..😘
Thank you for watching!😊
haha! they are onlly nice to the outsiders
That's a bit rough but it's real life.
Funny, a restaurant where you have to take your own food to.
Natives in the comments are explaining why that is and how it's actually cheaper
Also, in Japan, there are many places where you cook your own food (not take it...but still)
@@marcioamaral7511 I've seen these, both look like an interesting experience.
@Aru1
It sure must be interesting
Actually, choosing your own meat and seeing that it's fresh must be reassuring
Many restaurants use non-fresh ingredients and even microwave food...and that's very disgusting compared to this
Thank you for watching! :) It was really interesting experience for me!
I enjoyed watching this video. The last person asked you what's your name ? and you didn't understand him 😂😂
Thank you for watching!😊 I couldn’t understand what he said🥹

For that last scene with that guy , he was asking you for your name in french ! And and you were totally lost (which is understandable) ! And that kind become a meme for bit in Morocco 😂
1:22 he said mouton who is sheep in French. In Arabic darija it’s hawli
I learned something new
It's impossible to communicate with the guy with the red cap...but it was funny
Haha thank you for watching :)
nice 👍🏻 did some morrocan subscribers reached to you already? would be nice if someone could assist/guide you again with this specially for translation. I think it would be handy too if you have google translate on your phone ready for each conversation like back then with pedro 🇧🇷. we could be missing a lot more meaning from each narratives 😁
Yeah some of them reached me! But I’ll definitely use Google translate if I’m not with them just like back them with Pedro!👍
13:35 This man said funny words. He said that you are a famous person in Japan like and shut up he would say like French Montana here in Morocco 😂😂😂😂
13:46He was asking for your name.welcome to Morocco 🤗
Ah I see! Thank you!😊🇲🇦
Hello George I really like your videos so much fun. As a Moroccan I hope you didn't feel offended nor annoyed by the Moroccans greeting you in Chinese and I can assure you it's an honest mistake from their part. Thanks for sharing and showing the world our beautiful country and culture. ありがとう ございます
ありがとう for watching!😊 I didn’t get offended or annoyed because it happens in Japan too. I mean when we see foreigners, we say hello, but they might be from France or somewhere that’s not English speaking country. So that’s so understandable when they see Asian people and say Ni Hao which is like Hello to Asian people for them👍
Always great videos🇧🇷
Thank you for watching!😊🇧🇷
