    Rapid is my favourite time format. Enough time for players to come up with spectacular moves but still fast enough so it's fun to watch live.

    After Nf6, why does g3 not win for white? What tactic am I missing? If black tries to kick away the knight on a3 with b4, can’t the knight just jump to c4 and if black pushes d5, white goes Ne3 defending the bishop on c2?

    Calling Alireza a "legend" already is crazy but understandable. He's only 22 but been among the top for such a long time it feels like he's already left a legacy for the chess world. The other day Magnus also described him as "One of the greatest players of all time".

      The White bishop on C2 would be undefended if the queen capture the bishop I guess it's better for black to capture this bishop with the rook
