- Morgan demands to know what Tim thinks he was doing when he attempted to let Taylor go. Morgan agrees to go along with Tim’s plan. Deacon tells Amber that she will never be able to trust Rick. Rick likes Bridget’s new look and wonders if her mystery man inspired it. Rick witnesses a kiss between Deacon and Amber.

No matter how insecure Tim is, he should have what little sense he has and be able to distinguish right from wrong. Doesn't he call himself a "psychiatrist"? Then he knows mental disorders like Morgan obviously has, otherwise he should give back his license.

Plus she thinking of getting ridge, even IF she did, what’s she gonna do, show up with his kid and automatically they gonna be a family?! Makes no sense other to just be vindictive.

I don't understand why Taylor just agreed to giving Steffy over to Tim. _That_ was the moment she should have reasoned with him and told him "this child is exactly where she should be - with her mother. If you take her from me now, _you Tim_ are the one who is kldnapplng her, _you Tim_ are doing the same thing Morgan did, and _you Tim_ are hurting this child - are you willing to cross that threshold?".
I very much doubt that a character like Tim would have wrestIed a child from her mother's arms, especially if the mother held _him personally_ responsible for doing it and told him that it would make _him_ an active kldnapper (preventing him from avoiding responsibility by hiding behind Morgan).
Taylor could clearly see that Tim was ambivalent about the whole thing and that he was willing to let her go - he was the one who brought Steffy to her. Her maternal love for Steffy was the one thing that made Tim feel sympathy for her. _That_ is what needed to be right in front of his eyes to remind him of why he should help Taylor. And Taylor just gave up her best chance of getting him to see reason.
Morgan is now thinking about taking Steffi far away from LA? That should have been her plan A all along. Taylor should have known she was bluffing and just push past her and run up the stairs. Morgan literally has zero weapon and Tim can easily be blown down by a breeze.

And why did Taylor just give Steffy to Tim and then wait for him to return so Tim and Morgan could carry her back into the fallout shelter? Didn't she realize that that was her best chance to leave _with Steffy?_
Exactly....steal Steffy while living in the same neighbourhood as her parents and even WORKING with them at Forresters....idiotic plan/writing and not logical if serious about stealing the child 🙄

This kidnapping story is really drawn out and we are getting three episodes a day so it must have been weeks or months in 2001.
Taylor and Steffy gonna be found April 2001, so within a few weeks
Brooke, Eric, Rick, Bridget, Amber and Deacon are all wearing black!
Snakes, Sharks and now Rotweillers? What was with the obsession with animals as plot devices this season?

Brooke Logan Forrester needs to focus on giving her 4th husband (Throne Forrester) a baby and mine her damn business! Brad Bell should have completed Brooke and Throne's marriage with a son to complete the storyline of why Eric Forrester Sr never made Throne Forrester President of his mother's company Forrester Creations.
Tim is so dumb. He wouldn’t have gotten in trouble because he had nothing to do with what Morgan did and as soon as he found out taylor was locked up and stephy wasn’t really hers, he tried to talk her out of it and brought stephy to her and let her out of the room, all they had to do was gang up on Morgan (2 against 1) and get out of there and it would have been over and Taylor would be grateful to him for saving her and make sure he doesn’t get in trouble. Instead he chose to dig himself in a hole and made himself a real accessory to the kidnapping by going along with Morgan 🙄
It's his own fault.
Tim is very weak in character.

How stupid is Taylor? She stayed downstairs while Tim brought the child up. She should have followed him with a quick move and pull Morgan down the stairs. Instead she was waiting!!!
So much of the plot right now is reliant on characters just introduced to the show. Clearly the writers are counting on viewers who were familiar with Tim from Y&R in order to understand what his motivations are for being an assessory to kidnapping basically overnight. Similarly Rick and Amber’s relationship imploding is based on his new found interest in Amanda.
Will the bathroom be in reach for Taylor??

Love brooke n Eric co-parenting dynamic, always respectful of one another.
At that time, Eric still doesn't Rick shot Grant, and Ridge confessed to protect his namesake. When Bridget was falsely determined to be Ridge's, Eric became persona non grata with Brooke. At one time, Rick called Ridge Dad, his half-brother Uncle Thorne. Did he call Stephanie Grandma, like Bridgette did? Brooke was going to marry Ridge without telling him Deacon was Hope's father. When Brooke needed Eric's assistance keeping Deacon and the truth from Ridge in Europe, then and only then did she tell Eric why she was estranged from Bridget. Eric was upset five minutes max, 4.5 minutes longer than Rick, when she finally told him. What did Eric do? Help Brooke and continued completely ignoring Bridgette's pain. Ridge's reaction was more paternal than Eric's. At least he was disgusted, angry, and appalled by B3, Brooke's Bedroom Behaviors. Nope, Eric's never been a good father to any of his kids, excluding Brooke, which is really twisted!

@@MichelleCootee Morgan has no weapon (unless you count her scary face) and is overpowering Taylor simply by pushing her. Taylor should be so mad and motivated to get her daughter out of there that she should have the strength of 10 men to beat Morgan to the ground and get outta there
