Thank you for being personable yet not spending 8 minutes discussing your personal life before getting to the tutorial! So many other videos are more about personal attention than teaching. I really appreciate your technique!
My Mom had one of those a friend of hers made her. It always looked so pretty on Mom. I always thought I would love to learn to make one but I have never crocheted. You make it look so easy so I am investing in a hook and ladder yarn and give it a try!!! Thank you!!
@@linedanzer4302 Great tip! I found Premier Ladder yarn on Amazon. You can also use Ice Ladder yarn. I put the links in the discription. I wish Premier still made it.
I made a beautiful shawl for my daughter - and at the teacher's convention, everyone loved it - so she said. This yarn is also like a 'railroad' track - just so if you hear that term you'll know what is meant.
What a nice project. Perfect for a beginner and a beautiful piece to wear. My cousin used to make the most beautiful shawls and scarves using ladder yarn. Then the manufacturing plant burned down and she could no longer get it. I know you said it was discontinued but it would be nice to see it back on the market.
This is gorgeous. I found a necklace like this at a flea market a few years back and couldn't figure out how it was made or what it was made from. Hope to order this yarn soon and make a few. Thank you for the tutorial 🙂
Hi, thanks for this tutorial! I’m looking forward to making this necklace! Just a quick question. You mentioned that any size of bead would work for this project. I ordered some 4mm beads and I don’t think the holes will be big enough. So I was wondering if you have a recommendation for a bead size that might go well with this project? Thanks
In the tutorial I used a simple crafters bead (blue) that comes in a pack. 6 x 9mm, hole size is 4mm. The image with the wooden bead, I don't know. It was in the back of my craft drawer, lol
Love this necklace, i thought it was jewels on it gonna order some now so i can make this
Thank you. It is featherlight also.
I have some of this yarn in my stash 😄 I’ve been puzzled as to what I could make with it....now I’m off to find my hook! THANK YOU.
I was the same, lol. This ladder yarn has been sitting in my stash forever
You must live in Motown, crochet hit making Guru! Love, love. Inspiring the masses yet again! Well done!
You have me rolling lol. Thank you
I love the boho look of this necklace. It can add some zing to a plain t- shirt. Thank you for another creative idea!

This is brilliant - and gorgeous!! I love it so much. And I happen to have a bit of ribbon yarn left deep in my stash!
I think every crafter has this in the back of their yarn stash, lol. Mine was collecting dust.
This is pretty cool! It can be made as a last minute gift or accessory to an outfit that just need a little extra. Thanks for sharing!

Is that why they don't make it anymore!!?? Ice yarn is almost exactly the same. But I miss going to the store just to pick it up.
@@LittlejohnsYarn Yeah that was a real loss for the crochet world.

Great pattern! Can you show how to use fingerling yarn? I have one ball and I don't know what to do with it, and it won't fit into my yarn bins.

Love it, beautiful and easy to create. What size bead are you using? Ordered the yarn. Looking forward to a new project.

What ends did you cut off? Video ended without showing it completed🤷🏽♀️ TIA
Oh my Lanta are you using a Boyde hook.
I thought you didn't like those
🤣🤣🤣🤣 I couldn't find my Large N hook.
