My friends and I played some cover songs one day during lunch time and we just did it for fun. But to our surprise we actually had a decent crowd loving us play. We played the pokemon theme song and people loved it. Didn't think anyone would watch us.
That scene in the end when he hits you and you fall, looking at him, taking your last breath before he "cuts off you head" and kills you. It's just so COOL. PLEASE do more of this choreography soon. They're really cool. If you'd do it, I hope it would be pretty soon cause they're really cool!!
I saw this live and I cannot tell you how hype and breathtaking it was as a theater kid it really inspired me to take a deep dive into stage combat and I can not be more happy for what Tony has accomplished.
Loved the obi one and anakin spin off. This emotive fight was sick. Especially when the green lightsaber guy lost his saber and backflipped to it. The crowed made me smile so much.
That was so un-believably cool. I bet those kids not only had a blast doing that, but they and everyone else will have that memory for the rest of their lives. The choreography was on point, the stunts preformed by the own actors were dope, the saber form was of course dope, the music great, costumes on point, everything. I am so bummed my school didn’t do something like this because my Senior theme is actually Disney StarWars!!! They could have done something like this and I graduate in 2 days, so if I only had more time, I could have pulled this off with the principal and done this with some friends and willing participants. Well, we don’t always get what we want. But that video gave me the chills ❤
“Disney” Star Wars? Oof. Lucas Star Wars is what they should have done. Congrats regardless. Still pretty cool to have a designated theme for a graduation.
I genuinely can’t express how awesome this is. The fighting is legendary and very accurate to a fight in the SW universe. The sith killing off the other sith is an amazing addition. These dudes made a fight sequence better than all the sequels combined. Amazing job.
I can just imagine seeing this at your school back then, before you leave school and head to the theaters to see Attack Of The Clones or Revenge Of The Sith
Not going to lie, initially I was cringing just because typically these don’t go so good lol. HOWEVER, this is definitely not the case here. This is awesome, and now I’m jealous 😂
Haha same. ALL the ones I’ve seen are cringe and expected the same of this but these guys actually had moves and it seemed to flow realistically unlike others
I only cringed slightly at the beginning when the kid playing the sith’s lightsaber went out for a few moments but other than that I thought it was pretty cool
The secondary red saber fighter knew the instructions and committed fully. That dive roll on his entrance, *chef's kiss* And the green saber fighter cartwheeling and backflipping out of the way to retrieve his saber, brilliant.
How long did this take to practise and set up etc? That was amazing and you should be very proud. Also find it amazing how hyped up the students were but let's be honest. How could you not be?
Thank you! We had a month to choreograph everything. The student council at my school asked if we'd be willing to do something with our lightsabers for a prep rally. We were a bit skeptical at the time but we practiced several times a week when everyone was free. I worked on mixing the audio that is being heard. They told us to keep it under 3 minutes. I actually had just finished my first neopixel saber a few months prior to this assembly so I was extremely excited to test it out here. I was very excited and nervous with the cheering and the lights going out. I was a senior at the time and felt like an absolute rock star.
@@Ronin_Sabers wow, what a moment, man. You'll never forget it. Fuck, I'll never forget this and I wasn't even there. Just about the coolest thing iv'e ever seen. Congratulations dude, lol.

This is the coolest thing ive EVER seen in RUclips HOLY DUDE. You got everything!! Count Dookus death, Obi Ani spin off, Qui Gon Jin, Sith finisher, ... LEGENDARY
I remember my High School back in Michigan did a fencing demonstration at a school assembly. A lightsaber demo would be so cool if it were performed at my school.
some of these guys are REALYL excited edit: i feel like a lot of people don't understand that its really cinematic and cooler if you disengage your lightsaber when you drop it. and reignite it. (unless its unscripted. then its fair.)
My school always had an end of the year spirit theme, one year it was super heroes, another it was harry potter, and when I was a senior it was starwars. Freshmen where the droids, sophomore where padawans, JR's where Jedi, and we where Sith (my school had a middle schooler progam so the 7-8th graders where just porgs or something). Before the spirit assembly started we (just seniors) practiced doing a crowd wave controlled by a Sith. When our act came up there was a lightsaber duel like this one and the Sith won. He lifted his hands and the lights came on, he walked over to the senior section and used the force to move us back & forth a couple of times. Then he threw his hands apart to split the crowd. In the middle was this kid who had dwarfism, and he dressed like Yoda. Our sith stretched out his hand and pretended to force choke him, while two other guy's in black morph suits lifted up the Yoda. Yoda was kicking his legs and holding his throat. (doing a pretty good job of selling it) That was the best assembly that I ever went to.😂
This was the coolest thing I saw all day. Wish that my school would let us do that. The sith killing the other sith surprised me but it was accurate so I loved it
It's kind of crazy just how much brighter the green and blue blades are compared to the red! Especially when either of them are being spun the red goes so dim so quickly 😆 this is kickass scene though
I love how you can tell that the participants in this fight are actively trying to telegraph their movements so their opponents can block. It's interesting to see, because you can tell that these kids didn't have *that* long to practice this. If this was a 1-on-1 duel that the participants had practiced for 3 hours a day for 3 weeks, they'd have it down to a T. But they didn't have that time so they're doing the best with what they have...It's quite interesting to look at.
Damn. Wish my high school allowed this. I actually presented the idea to the principal and she just said "it would be a waste of time for an assembly" even tho I requested it to be on the last day of school. Even found 5 others willing to do it with me. Happy I graduated but man this would have been nice.
In my high school, I think the students there mostly cared about rap and reggaeton music and dating and vaping. I don’t think many people in my high school would’ve cared about something like this.
