Agree with Viddal but can also see it from JJ's perspective as they were running the whole fight, if the fights went the distance that will basically mean the Jake fight is over, I'm sure he wasn't expecting Pineda to run and turn his back the whole time so out of frustration he threw a lot wild but still overall this was the best we've seen from JJ
Love Viddal but what he said about Kenny vs Sensei was ridiculous, shouldn’t matter where the fight takes place, judging should just be done correctly.
Honestly JJ's biggest weakness is his habit of bragging prior to fights to hype himself up(I know it is part of his dog mentality). If he had not guaranteed knockouts verbally, he could have fought his opponents in more controlled manner.
Agree, I always say that I’ve never liked the verbal from boxers or RUclips boxers. You don’t have to do too much to sell a fight, verbal ain’t necessary
The issue with that is that if he did that people would clown him for not knocking them out fast enough sadly. Regardless he loses and faces criticism. He technique did get better though, a little patients and control, we got ourselves a better jj with scary power.
We couldn't see what Ksi actually had cus his opponents were running away from him, so people would be disappointed from jj but you can't really blame him
If you watched the video, vidal clearly mentioned he needed to use proper footwork and ring generalship to handle fighters who run or on the back feet. All KSI had to do was use his brain…but he can’t. He should of pressured the fighters intelligently using his footwork and punches to coast and trap his opponents either along the ropes or in the corner of the ring. There he could land his combination effectively and pin em.
@@nyeem6492 Hard to do that when they're spinning around and running. You can't even really hit them if they're facing the other way, especially if they're already trying to bait a call. Ref should have been more strict about that and put a stop to that shit immediately. We'll probably see better footwork and control when he fights someone that isn't terrified of him.
Deji is by far the most naturally gifted of the RUclips boxers. He just didn’t put the work in before. Now he’s putting effort in he looks fantastic. Very impressive and could be very dangerous in the southpaw stance
5:10 first time i'm seeing viddal not be real lmao no way he gave that figt a draw, but ik he gotta back kenny it's the uk love and i'm not mad about it
I can't argue with Viddal. He's a boxer and knows better tbh. However, I feel like JJ didn't get to display his true potential this fight because well.. the fighters just, gave up and as a result, JJ wasn't pushed into a situation where he really had to fall onto specific techniques and tactics, and as a result he just got the ability to chase his opponents and try to take them down EDIT: YOU CANNOT EXPECT JJ TO DISPLAY HIS FULL POTENTIAL WHEN 98% OF THE FIGHT IS HIS OPPONENTS RUNNING AND TRYING TO GET AWAY. THEY DID NOT MAKE IT THROUGH ALL 3 ROUNDS.
Well JJ, at least for Pussabi said that he’d take him into deep water and toy with him before the knockout. Idk why he didn’t do that with either of the fighters since he was winning so dominantly
Nah jj did display his skill it's mediocre. He's only adding jabs and cross but mainly wide haymakers. As you can see he's landing shots at the back of Pineda head just like when he knocked logan down. It's sloppy form. Jj needs to improve cus he's not.
Viddal is the realest guy 👊🏽❤️.he always wants what's good for his friends and wants to improve them and lift them higher.he is absolutely right when he said that JJ needs to fight a worthy opponent in an eight round match because then he will be finally up to the standard and be at the top of his game.so happy for both jj and deji with their performance and hope that they'll continue to take their game to the next level and be nothing but greats of all time ❤️.keep up the epic work my g 👊🏽🔥✨

Because Brits back up their own even if it's immoral it's a known thing in the sporting world. Viddal basically said if any non-british person fights a british person at the event they have to knock them out or win extremely convincingly in order to win that's some bullshit.
@@GZSFITNESS No the footage is online in 1080HD you can even slow it down a lot of his jabs landed on Sensei's shoulders because sensei was shoulder rolling them.

He said if the standing ko wasnt counted. I also belive Sensei won but if you remove the standing count then its a draw. if you score the knockdown Sensei wins without a shadow of a doubt. r1 sensei r2 Kenny r3 sensei r4 Kenny
deji did look better, but he did also have a more comparable opponent towards his own talent. jj opponents ran, ducked, did everything they could to not put on a show and just be in the arena. but neither were willing to square up and really do combinations and go back and forth. really just sad backup choices, but i cant put that on jj
That's really not how it works. The better your opponent, the more likely they are to make you look like an amateur. If JJ can't control his technique against useless opponents, he sure as shit won't be maintaining composure against someone who is slipping his punches and hitting him back. If he goes up against a decent opponent it's a guarantee that he'll go back to windmill mode based on the last 2 fights.
I wont lie I was adamant about Sensei getting robbed but hearing more and more from people who know the game better than me and starting to understand it more I think it was a draw BUT I can see why it was given to Kenny now. This is what’s great about these fights is that an audience who typically doesn’t follow the sports are being introduced and learning more about it. And I can’t wait to see JJ fight a worthy opponent to actually get to prove himself.
Call it what it is....why is everyone sugar coating it? JJ fought Swarmz who had 2 weeks to learn boxing and admitted to focusing mostly on losing the 12kg and relied simply on a lucky punch, just watch the Swarmz fight its obvious the guy has never even thrown a punch before or even sparred before and obviously he was going to run but for everyone to be like OMG JJ HAS POWER like if thats the case why did he drop Swarmz multiple times and he just got straight back up without any sign he even got punched? you said at 1:24 JJ got the finish but how? Swarmz chose himself to quit...JJ didn't make him quit with his "power", Swarmz simply realised he's not landing anything and just looked at his coach who said nah man just stay down and go home with bag. Then JJ fought a twig who was clearly only given a pro licence so he could be used as a punchbag by other pro boxers to up their record, if that kid had 50 amateur fights and 2 pro fight wins then i'm Muhammad Ali.....he threw a tantrum every time he got hit with a shot and even called a uppercut a back of the head shot! and JJ is like WE THOUGHT HE WOULD BRING MORE like nah you didn't man just look at him! does he look like someone who's gonna be able to box JJ or even throw a punch that could hurt him? of course not and JJs team knew that and why they picked him off the punchbag list. Everyone is just yesmen around JJ, meant to be "real" if you was you'd be telling him those two fights were an embarrassment and not to brag about power and comparing his power to Wilder when Swarmz kept getting up and quit on his own terms and the Mexican kid kept getting up and quit on his own terms...everyone knows them two opponents were punchbags and should of been knocked out first round, justifying it by "oh he got the rounds" how did he? JJ didn't look as good as Deji as he had two people just not throwing and running around the ring.....what did he gain from those rounds? nothing at all. Jake has atleast fought people who presented a risk to him....Jj has fought two people that even Fousey could of beat and everyone is like OMG JJ IS SO GOOD AND OMG HE HAS SO MUCH POWER like nah man you need to be real with him as a friend and tell truth...even True Geordie was embarrassed about JJs fights and he's the biggest yesman of them all.
Those were late replacement opponents. Tf do you want from him so fast. He was out of the ring for 3 years. Ring rust is absolutely real. Jake literally fought Nate Robinson and Ben Askren. Like vidal said hometown advantage plays a huge role. It's the same when a #1 contender fights the champion. You have to make that statement on the fight. When Kambosas fought teofimo in NY and won. Haney beat Kambosas in Australia. All statement fights with hometown advantage to the champion. With that said I agree with vidal it being close to a draw......but I do think sensei edged the win

Deji looked amazing, and I can't even refute the statement that he looked better than JJ. To be fair to JJ though, his opponents constantly ran away so he couldn't show his full capability and how much he has truly changed. Though, despite that poor showing from his opponents, JJ still showed that he changed and looks better than what he was before. Whereas with Deji, Fousey was a brave opponent that didn't back down. Even after getting hit with such heavy blows, Fousey kept trudging forward. So Deji was able to fully show the changes he's made. Again, I'm not refuting that Deji looked better than JJ in the event. Let's just celebrate that Deji finally got his first W after such a long time and the Olatunji bros came out the event with both of them winning.
I really liked that point of an instant first round knock out isn't always the best thing, you need the rounds to see where the improvements are and where you need to focus for your next fight. Makes me wonder how good is Jake actually, his fight against woodly looked real sloppy and makes you wonder how far apart is Jake and JJ actually?
Nice video, it’s good to see perspective of someone who is actually a boxer. I didn’t see why jj would have those easy fights until watching this (since his first fights were actual challenges) but having the opportunity for him to fight and watch back footage to see weakness’s make a lot of sense
If you score a standing 8 or knock down don’t you only not win the round if the opposition is dominant the rest of the round? Throwing a couple of jabs is not a dominant rest of the round
The space, controlling, pression etc win a fight. Don't make it like it was a fucking street fight. OOhh sensei landed a big right on kenny oh shit. Nah man stop that shit. Put some respect to kenny. I thought the same, Deji looked so fundamentally sound by comparison it was shocking. He’s got a real natural gift especially settling in to that low hip stance, with some sharpening he’s there.
I agree with the stance on Sensi, he definitely didn’t give it his all. The way he described it in his video with Kenny, it feels like the passion to give it his all wasn’t there for this fight. It’s not enough to not let Kenny dominate the fight. He would have had to show dominance more than just landing a good few hits
Big fan, man. Love that your content keeps getting better. Thanks for sharing, and I agree. Deji is the story of the day. Respect to JJ for fighting 1/3 of a person between 2 guys. I'm sure it was fun to watch live, but the level of effort was like 2 out of 100. lol
Both JJ and Deji looked excellent. Fousey had more guts than Swarmz and Pineda and stood in front of Deji, and JJ could only beat what was in front of him. Extremely difficult to look good when two people are constantly running away.

Deji is calm and composed. He judges distance, moves his head and times his shots way better than Jj does. Jj gets frustrated too easily. He's tryna find the KO, as opposed to letting it come to him. Mind due, his opponents were running the entire time, but the way he kept coming forward in no attempt to drown them, he just made it more difficult for himself to land the damaging blows.
Deji’s win was way more satisfying than JJ’s. Fousey looked in great shape. The impaulsive podcast had me laughing with George saying JJ was beating up a child.

Love Viddal but what he said about Kenny vs Sensei was ridiculous, shouldn’t matter where the fight takes place, judging should just be done correctly.
exactly brother
That's politics for you
It shouldn't matter, but it does, and everyone knows that.
Swear he has something against sensei
Yea and I got no clue how he has it as a draw 😂😂
Honestly JJ's biggest weakness is his habit of bragging prior to fights to hype himself up(I know it is part of his dog mentality). If he had not guaranteed knockouts verbally, he could have fought his opponents in more controlled manner.
Oh my god... good point lmao I didn't think about it that way lol
The thing is, to box or any combat sport where its 1 man vs 1 man. You need to be almost delusional in your confidence to win.
Weakness?? Trash-talking has been a part of the boxing game for decades.
We couldn't see what Ksi actually had cus his opponents were running away from him, so people would be disappointed from jj but you can't really blame him

@@dell233 bro did u even watch the video? 1:09

So basically the ref saved Kenny and save him from losing the round
Kenny did not win that fight
I can't argue with Viddal. He's a boxer and knows better tbh.
However, I feel like JJ didn't get to display his true potential this fight because well.. the fighters just, gave up and as a result, JJ wasn't pushed into a situation where he really had to fall onto specific techniques and tactics, and as a result he just got the ability to chase his opponents and try to take them down
EDIT:
YOU CANNOT EXPECT JJ TO DISPLAY HIS FULL POTENTIAL WHEN 98% OF THE FIGHT IS HIS OPPONENTS RUNNING AND TRYING TO GET AWAY.
Deji is more of a technical boxer than KSI. That’s okay. It doesn’t mean he’d beat him a boxing match but it’s very plain to see who “looks the part.”

deji did look better, but he did also have a more comparable opponent towards his own talent. jj opponents ran, ducked, did everything they could to not put on a show and just be in the arena. but neither were willing to square up and really do combinations and go back and forth. really just sad backup choices, but i cant put that on jj
I'll be honest I doubted him but Deji proved me wrong; fair play to him and I hope he continues his success :)
I wont lie I was adamant about Sensei getting robbed but hearing more and more from people who know the game better than me and starting to understand it more I think it was a draw BUT I can see why it was given to Kenny now. Absolutely agree

Deji's jab knockdown was so cold, the look at the end aswell, violation
I really liked that point of an instant first round knock out isn't always the best thing, you need the rounds to see where the improvements are and where you need to focus for your next fight.

that was faze sensei's fight viddal nd a think u know it he got robbed nd am from the uk sensei dominated the ring and kenny didnt land anything significant and it was a bit like deja vu from the temper fight.
