-Thats not that bad Toronto-Tel-aviv is the same but back its 13 houres which is long but ELAL survice makes it all better! Will be making the Long leg thursday 11 houres @ 39000ft in a 767-200 = lots of reflecting time! lol nice vid!
Yes it was interesting to fly in from the southern tip, past the Arabian coastline and all though. However the extra long flight hours are a drag. Will definitely take the Hong Kong to Tel Aviv route next time I go to Israel.
Actually HKG is just as massive as BKK so you will have to do a lot of walking there too. It is simply a more pleasant airport to kill the connection time in than BKK.
HKG to TLV is about 11 and a half hours so in terms of time there is no difference. I fly to Israel regularly and have gone through both BKK and HKG. I would prefer HKG only because the airport is nicer than BKK.
@israelibadam el al has only 767-300 i think, and they dont have personal tv's in them which suck:( i had to endure a 11 hour flight on the el al 767....
@Tekhelet75 lol ive been on this flight from bangkok about 3 times. it would have been a 7 hour flight if the plane didnt have to go around all the arab countries

Thank you. The plane was from Bangkok. It was about 11 hours flight.
Yes we found the Bangkok airport TOO huge! Was tiring to walk in their airport. Next trip I will fly via Hong Kong! Thanks for the tip lol.
Thanks very much for the lovely comment :)
