Hi! Hi! Thank you! Alocasias are beautiful! I live on the 11th floor so my balcony is very windy, but I'm definitely sending it outside once I repot it!
Aww, I am really jealous to your climate! I love alocasias too, but during the winter time it is a pain in the ass to keep them happy in the heated rooms with not enough light and dry air. But anyway, everyone survived the winter and now pushing out the first spring leaves, so life with plants is happy! 😊
I love helping my leaves unfurl as well because my Red Andersons are horrific! They are the same way... and it doesn't matter humidity. They get stuck and break themselves😥. It's actually sad how excited I am to go find my paint brush, because I will do this ALL day❤! ! I also need to add that in the winter my plants reside in my dining room which is unused and I converted the light fixture to have only grow lights and I keep the fan on 24/7 and I have beheaded way more plants than I like to admit because they were too tall to be walking into that room under the fan😂.
🤣🤣 ceiling fans are a menace to plant society! Yes! High humidity does nothing for some leaves! I like to think my surgery success is a lot higher than if I left it alone!
I just got a huge Miranda a couple days ago. I sadly lost a bunch of my nepenthes when I moved last summer, my truncata was one of them. 1 have 4 now, all ventricosa hybrids. My ventricosa x robcantleyii is one of my favorites
I also lost some faves in the move. I also had a Robcantleyii hybrid, but I think south Florida didn't have enough night time temp drop to make it pitcher. It'd create these really hard pitchers, it was cool!
I have a red anderson philodendron and I love it. It’s a hybrid of pink princess and white knight. Mine is living in a tree fern fiber, perlite mix and climbing up a moss pole and loving it. The 3 leaves that have pink on them is also mixed with white so it gives off like a pastel baby pink color 💕
Ohhh that sounds super cute!!! 🩷🩷 Thank you for letting me know the parentage I wasn't sure. Hopefully one of mine will get nice variegation like that!
I'm currently transitioning some of the delicate Alocasia into PON. I think leca works well for Alocasia with chunky roots but the ones with stringy ones struggle with the air pockets and dry out. Also I think Pon brings extra Mg which some of my more aggressive growing Alocasia started with some chlorosis. I'll def post some videos with what I learn!
I did!! I use plantstory app for all my TC purchases. RareplantFairy and Dandiplants are my favorite TC sellers. FYI, there are 2 generations of OP. The 1st are the lightly Marble, usually cuttings or bigger plants. And the 2nd gen is what is coming up through TC for the past year, those have much higher variations with sectoral chunks. 🧡
Those are Soo cool! But not yet! A little out of my budget. I had some big Prince of Orange and Mcolley's finale. Hope to run into an affordable red moon soon 🔥🔥
You can find multiple sellers online, but I usually do Plantstory auctions. I called it Poo 💩 haha because they can look gross. But I've had a very high success rate with mine, which allowed me to get some plants I couldn't afford otherwise! 🙌🏼

Thank you so much! 🧡

I love how much you enjoy common and rare plants. Same here.
Thank you! I think it's all about the experience of growing the plant 🧡🧡🧡
Ahhh I love your shirt!!
rowdy boys 💛💚🧡

@@AllureAndInk I in fact have the same shirt hehe I think I got it at target 🤪

Hello I Love Your Collection 😍
Thank you! 🧡
Hi just found your channel! My alocasia’s prefer pon. I haven’t had luck in leca. So the edge issues you see could be pH problems
Did you get your orange princess from rare plant fairy? Where do you get your tissue culture plants?
I wonder if you used to have a PHILODENDRON RED MOON???
Those are Soo cool! But not yet! A little out of my budget. I had some big Prince of Orange and Mcolley's finale. Hope to run into an affordable red moon soon 🔥🔥
Tissue culture?where and or how can i buy some like yourself what’s the word u called it ,because they have mold ,
You can find multiple sellers online, but I usually do Plantstory auctions. I called it Poo 💩 haha because they can look gross. But I've had a very high success rate with mine, which allowed me to get some plants I couldn't afford otherwise! 🙌🏼
