Hey thanks. These xcade bartops are hard to find now. Got mine from Arcadeworlduk but they have not had them for a few years now. there are some nice alternatives but i would suggest finding one that has a screen and control panel plexi like mine which helps with dust. i got this bartop for around £95 back in 2018 so it shows how prices are going up. Dont overspend is my suggestion, but do shop around.

good to see an update of the biuld Kent 🖒 can't remember if I've asked tgis already or if you've mentioned it previously .....was it space issues that stopped you going down the candy cab route ?
minks36 Hey mate. Yes, i wanted a more portable and space saving option. In case i move it from room to room, its much easier. Plus i can have it low or high if i wanted to stand or sit. Plus i'm cheap.
Davy Moore yeah me too. The monitor is a 19" flatscreen running vga. It was an open frame monitor, not sure of the make but its not from a pc as it has a touchscreen function but im not utilising that.
I've got a Dell 2007fpb 4:3 ratio monitor that I plan to use eventually in a similar project to your own. Vertical shooters from the 80s with the monitor rotated 90. That's the plan.
The Highlander Thanks. Yes i will use an led strip i think. They seem low voltage but very bright. Just need to choose a nice marquee or design one myself.
The marquee is probably a custom size. I've been keeping an eye out for an original Galaga marquee. But on a multi game system you can go any way you like.

The Highlander the Galaga marquee is awsome. I love the green and red. I think i will do a custom one with a Tron style.
