🚩RED FLAGS || Piper & Sami PMV (Engagement Announcement!)🚩

HELLO EVERYONE!
So I actually announced this a few days ago on my community tab (which I discretely hid in an Artfight announcement) but some of you actually read the whole thing. Yes, as of June 30th, I am engaged!
Yes. Engage. Like, engagement. Going to get married at some point engaged.
To announce this, I had prepared a little video. This is moreso for my partner, Sami, but also of course, you guys!
I knew Sami was going to propose at some point this summer. I had been actively working on this since May, so it was a bit of a crunch to finish at the end (as you can kinda tell lol).
When we first met and started talking, our conversations were pretty normal. Typical, awkward "college freshman" kind of stuff. But as soon as he saw a piece I drew, where I drew myself as The Dark Knight!Joker, things kicked off from there. I was OBSESSED with the Joker (Specifically The Dark Knight Joker), and it was, looking back, a red flag that Sami should have ran for the hills.
But he didn't. And now, I am semi-normal about the Joker (though my tastes may have changed to be towards Scarecrow and Bane). As soon as I heard the song Red Flags, I knew that it fit our first 'date' perfectly. Obviously, exaggerated, but still fun.
And yes, the 'best movie of all, a masterpiece of art called' IS The Dark Knight. That will never change.
Sami, I love you, and I cannot wait to go into this exciting chapter of my life with you.

Some Easter eggs (probably not in order)
-my favorite food being spaghetti... It's partially true, but it's what I ate when we had our first date!
-the real picture backgrounds are actual locations from The Dark Knight Trilogy!
-the waiter is Jonathan Crane. There was no waiter because we ate at the dining hall lol
-that 'Joker! Piper' artwork was the exact one Sami originally saw
-The joke with the "fear toxin 101" is that I've had similar 'Scarecrow' rambles over the past year, and I'd be all over a class
-the end scene was actually exactly how we shared our first kiss: after watching the dark knight together
