Great advice.
Thanks!
One thing I learned after having to replace parts of the floor on the two slide outs in the bunk room and the entrance way with full time RV living. Get a full size humidifier. People and animals make humidity breathing, and that makes condensation, and that makes mold, that destroys wood. Best investment we made. The first one I bought was a small room size but did not do the entire trailer so I bought a full size one and it is great. The condensation happens when the evening temps turn cold. Next I am getting the one inch styrofoam from building supply to Velcro on the sides of all three slide outs that will also help with the cold walls. This week we are putting foam flooring that has puzzle edges like the flooring with abc’s for children. I found the same type of flooring that has mahogany look wood grain all thru the RV I laid 6 pieces down in the cold bunk room and what a difference it made. It’s unconventional but very light weight wise and when puzzled together you barely notice the puzzled joins. I highly recommend it but keep you dogs nail cut short, my big Ridgeback poked nail hole in one of the tiles but my giant Great Dane who is bigger has short nail hasn’t made any holes.
Although the blinds are esthetically pleasing and functional, I finally replace all with black out curtains that I can launder frequently. Down went the mold and dust.
We may end up doing that as well. So far his are the only ones that did that but it would be nice to wash them.
Love the take a picture and save documents that way; no paper! ~ Diana
New to your channel, found you from Diary of a Family. Hats off to you young families downsizing and living on the road. Such a wonderful experience for you and the children, what amazing childhood memories they will have.
Reality that we will be facing VERY soon. Thanks for sharing!
I'm with you, Kristen; purge, purge, purge! We usually do this between every contract.
Yep! To much stuff stresses me out!
Great tips and advice. We all could use a bit of Purging! Thanks for the share! Love your channel
Thanks for the tips! We are a family of 8 in 1000 square feet and while it's not as tight as you guys some of these tips will help :)
That's tight! Kudos for making it work. 💪 Glad some of these tips could help.
Great video!! The struggle is very real when you live in an rv. I am constantly going through things and we do the same if you bring something new in something else must leave!!
Haha yep! It's a constant battle.
First! ;)
