just using the mpc live 2 really captures that classic house sound the mpc really imparts something in to the sound that you just dont get in the box very thing just sounds better with a hardware sampler to me
at around 4:27, you program in the tambourine with full level turned off. I am new to MPC and wondered what kind of pressure you are putting on the pad to give it that rhythm?
Usually I go for soft, medium then hard when it comes to pressure on the pads with hats, shakers etc. But it’s really what feels right for the groove. Usually it turns out random and I’ll keep trying till I like the vibe. If you want more control over the velocity I would use 16 levels

Great tip for using 16 Levels Tune for the snare. Can’t wait to try that out. Thanks 🙏🏻

Dude where did you get those sax samples from ?????
All the samples used in this video were sampled from the Korg M1 plugin 😎
Love the use of the sax really brings the rest of the layers together
@@sublevelmusic was the M1 plugin a plugin on the mpc live? or in your DAW?
@@Disco_Mystic Korg M1 plugin in a DAW then transferred the samples to the MPC
@@sublevelmusic thanks! did you just record audio in a daw then transfer into the sd card? or did you record into the mpc from the daw?
