If I'm being honest cod has been focusing more in gun detail but I'm quite disappointed that things have downgraded from the last 2 mws

Atleast the playerbase is happy about it. Battlefield 2042 is just an embarrassing dead end...nobody cares about these details.
The shooting animation feels childish. Even the aim accuracy is fucked up. And talking about the active player base....well, we all know how bf2042 holds up. Just a dead game... pretending to be alive. Lol.
Battlefield deffinetly wins and is severely underrated. Nice that the devs fixed te game and added this much attention to detail.

Been playing 2042 since launch. It was rough when it came out but I could see that eventually it would be fantastic and I'm glad I was right. It's very underrated now and definitely worth picking up. Super fun, lots to unlock and piss about with. Back to how it should be. My favourite battlefield since bf4 for sure.

Even I think this was a bit skewed towards BF here. Frostbite is just too good at explosions, deformation and all other interactions between player and the world. It was built for stuff like these

I find it weird that the trees, vegetation and smaller objects in MW3’s Ground War do not render shadows at all. It looks kinda washed out. The very static nature of CoD maps is expected but couldn’t they include something like Gta V. Like driving over street lamps and smaller trees?
For the vegetation, Im pretty sure it's because it's the beta build. There are some trees that do react to grenades, and such. There's just missing details that the final game might have. The MW2 beta also was missing details.

Bro I didn't even know like 85% of these details on BF😂 I just hop in and play that's it, but now that I've seen this video I will never complain about details knowing what I have and what other games bring to the table 👍
This has to be one of the best detail comparison videos I've seen so far between these two games. You don't factor out anything, you don't show no BS, just the best of both games.
And I got to say, battlefield wins by a landslide easily. The only things MW3 are better at are swimming and reload animations.
I think both games are fun (imo battlefield is a lot more fun), but battlefield definitely wins in detail. Thanks for doing such a great job on this video!
2042 is insanely underrated now. It’s way better compared to the past 5 of games and honestly has some of the best gunplay in any battlefield game.

Huge Battlefield fan and love and play all of them. The attention to detail is leagues above cod but one thing cod does right is having a variety of game modes. Multi, campaign, warzone, dmz, zombies, etc. One thing I always found Battleifield lacking in is more game mode varity. Conquest and Breakthrough get old after away. Also Cod gun mechanics and weapon customization out paces Battlefield. If the next battlefield and fix those two things it be leagues above the rest imo. Oh and delete Operators, if they wanna keep the gadgets sure but make it and equipment you can chose not an operator and just sell skins that fit different faction models like how BF5 did it.

EA forced dice to chase COD’s way. That’s why 2042 suffered a lot. It’s not a typical BF experience.

Holy crap bro, what clipping/recording software do you use? The quality and frames look so smooth. Also when I export stuff from the editing software It gets compressed and the frames look horrible.

I had the best moment in BF2042, so I have no hud on, and I get shot, but then get revived and after that I kinda stumble around seeking cover, when as soon as I’m running to my team, an enemy throws a flashbang to them, so my character gets slightly effected so his hand goes up, and as the flash is clearing, I can see my team getting picked off so I turn around and run off.
A bullet hitting the human body or just passing close the character would be a amazing comparison for the video as well. Fantastic video 💪🏻

If you're on console, I'd go with 2042. The movement and gunplay in this game is pretty on par with CoD and the aim assist is not that OP. Also I personally got tired of the 6v6 style of gamemodes and their groundwars were never that hectic. The main game modes are 32v32, but if thats too much they have TDM and rush which is 16v16. Has plenty of weapons and vehicles, although it is lacking in maps ngl. Its on sale now and probably will be for the rest of its lifespan seeing as the launch was so poorly received, but the devs have made countless QoL updates that make it worth playing over CoD imo.

Not much, their goal still is to be easy to run. For bf it means higher density of assets on maps as devs have been complaining about the asset limit in 42

Battlefield graphics been looking next level since Bad Company 2. Battlefield, Crysis, & Killzone are the best looking shooting games I've ever seen, even on old consoles. COD is just now catching up
Honestly? Yeah in 2042’s current state it wins over MW3 by a landslide. But as far as actually playing the games? Both are fun as hell. Both games have things I like more than the other. I need to redownload 2042 and give it another whirl.

Why is your brightness setting so low
I kinda have always hated Activion/Treyarch 's overuse of decals/stickers for vfx. For example, water splashes and smoke effects look better in Frostbyte because they are actual 3D models and not just an HD sticker.
Notice how bullet impacts in Battlefield display smoke and the smoke has a freaking shadow. While CoD just places 2d stickers for the vfx

Battlefield for the win man, we cannot compare COD(game for kids) vs BF (game for OGs)...
Also, can we talk about the sounds? In Battlefield the audio always seems grounded and has accurate reverb and atmospherics. CoD feels kinda flat in comparison. Also, why has the player character in CoD no foot step sounds?

The Sound effects are actually by sledgehammer Games since they Developed mw3, also Most of the Animations are also by sledgehammer Games except for a Few that where Copy and pasted over from mw2
dunno why this is a comparison, when its common knownledge on the depths COD goes for, when it comes to details. BattleField always win this kind of thing, because its built for it, COD is just an Arena Shooter. not a massive map that can have its terrain changed by tanks and choppers.

it was an easter egg that Dice sadly disabled, but I guarantee it will return in an future update. You must activate 3 satellites on the map

@@NALOW84 they weren’t for a while after the Easter egg either but someone activated it in a game I was in very recently. Not since season 6 but it was during reduxx. Ima have to keep an eye out from now on. They should have just left it in honestly
I think you can still activate the airstrike itself, but rewards for it are removed

The thing is battlefield benefits from world destruction since it’s a massive online war simulation game and the changes players inflict on the map changes the game dynamic in many ways. However, COD is a fast paced arcade shooter with way smaller maps and having this level of destruction might actually ruin the game. Although, maybe ground war mode can benefit from some destruction. Battlefield does look great though not gonna lie.

As someone who doesn't have any AAA titles... Both games look gorgeous to me... Ofcourse battlefield has lot more details. But considering there are 2 cod games per year and 1 battlefield game per 2 years makes the difference..
one focuses more on campaign + events + BR, other focuses on Multiplayer + good destruction physics.

Absolutely! The BF animators are more than capable of creating outstanding first-person animations, provided they are given the chance to do so without EA asking for a 3rd person Battle Royal as they did with 2042 mid-development.

Seriously, I don't get why COD is so afraid to implement dynamic destruction on some props like trees, fences, decors, tables, etc? I mean yes, you can't still destroy buildings, but at least make players destroy some smaller objects, to make it more... dynamic.
As a Cod fan, I would say Battlefield is better in terms of graphics, sounds, and attention to detail
I give one year for people recognize BF2042 as better game, only beacouse it has bad start, but overall BF is superior game over CoD no questions about it.

Well, call of duty has zombies and a few good campaigns, i like what black ops 3 did with future stuff but i feel like titanfall shouldn't have come out so call of duty could have had all that content.. but it looks like battlefield 2042 is actually good. I definitely liked battlefield 3 a lot, it would be nice to just get a remake of battlefield 3 tbh.

Battlefield has always been superior in details and graphic quality, we can say the only and biggest problem for battlefield has always been executives and how poorly the franchise has been directed.
Tbf, in terms of "realism" and accuracy, CoD has been way better later, specially whe it is about the campaign and weapons. Not saying that CoD campaigns are amazing, but are good and theh definetly do their research to try to be as accurate and realistic as possible (aside from post-launch content).
I really do rather battlefield games, but the poor managemebt fron EA makes it really difficult to be worth its price
Dont forget all the mistakes that Battlefield and EA have done even since Battlefield 4 back in 2014.
It is a shame watching so much wasted potential with Frostbyte and the top quality of EA devs and engineers. They really do wonders in terms of their Engine.
As owner of both games I can admit that mw 3 is much more crispier than battlefield 2042 on ps 5. Although if you have Xbox series x it might be other way around

Dude the death animations for mw3 are horrendously bad, the one thing I really really love about 2042 is the maxed out particle effects. It makes the game really beautiful. I love cod a lot but I just can’t play it anymore, it feels like something is missing every time
