One of the things I like best about your videos, is that you take time and actually explain how colors are composed. It helped me so much in distinguishing the seasons from each other. That's definitely how i learn best, I need to understand in depth how something works, then apply it to the real world.

Can a True Summer have hazel green/brown eyes? I'm cool toned and believe I am true Summer (the colors in that palette suit me best. I can get away with some Winter colors but most are too dark or intense for my complexion). But in a lot of articles, they will list blue, light green and gray for True Summer. I don't have those. Mine are hazel (a bit hard to describe but like a muted yellow-green color with some brown around the iris).

It makes a big difference when you dress according to your season! I remember my mom took me, as a child, to have a color analysis done and I was determined to be an Autumn. That has held true for me and I enjoy wearing those colors best!

8:23 this is an interesting confirmation for me. I have always felt magenta was my favorite and most flattering color and I am very close to neutral skin tone.

It's interesting...when I wear certain colors, like deep purple or cool colors, I get more compliments, than when I wear other or warm colors. I totally agree with what you're saying.

This is so informative and I still struggle to find the right color. I am the one who wears a lot of black because it is so easy. My hair color is changing and now I see the colors I did look good in arent so becoming anymore.

I still don't know what I am yet. I have medium brown hair with red tendencies, pale pink skin, gray-blue eyes, black eyelashes. Regardless of seasons, pinks look good on me popping color in my cheecks and lips, but orange, warm browns, and beige don't compliment my eyes nor add vibrancy to me, I just look monotone in them. I recive complements wearing black or white and silver or gold. Some blues and greens work wonderfully while others make me look sallow or jaundice. Dark colors drag me down, but neon colors are too much, light colors are pretty but I have a medium contrast that they aren't fully complimentary of.
I can't take this trend too seriously, but my curiosity is driving me to want to figure things out so bad. 😅

Hi. If orange, warm browns & beige don't look good on you, you probably have cool undertone = so a summer or winter. If you have medium contrast, you're probably a summer (maybe true or light summer, since you said dark colors drag you down). Watch the draping vids of Colour Analysis Studio.

@@kitty_s23456 @Kitty S Hi, thank you! I love that you gave me advice!
I have started to think I am not necessarily an exact season, but might be just a "clear" or "bright" but not neon bright. I haven't considered myself to be a cool season much because of the warmth of my hair, in some lighting it's a red-ish brown and hairstylists have commented on how I have red strands mixed in. I do look good in colors and all pinks (peach and true pink).
Warm brown colors don't really look bad, as my skintone does become more uniform and more tan looking, but what I personally don't like is browns don't pop my blue eyes, or blush cheeks, I become monochromatic and lose the illusions of contrast between my medium-dark hair and medium-pale skin. Everything on me is medium, so some colors lower my contrast and bring me to look uniform but monochromatic, while other colors give me a stronger contrast and make me look more vibrant. So, to be uniform or to be vibrant, I have favored to be vibrant.
      The journey continues! 😁

Hi irena , the kibbe system remains complicated for me , i feel like i could be DC with a lot of SC pulling but just a little more Drama (face ,shoulders) or I could be FG (someone typed) with a little more bust , the lines of the DC (length of the skirts, dresses, sweaters) appeal to me very much, but with a striking accent color, and not a super tight jacket, something sparkling (clear spring), this still sounds like an FG and I don't understand it properly ,also I really like everything a color and have the feeling that a lot of different colors and patterns do not do me any good, I think more of a black outfit (connected) with bright earrings and bright shoes, what are youre thaughts ? gr sigrid

HELP!! I can’t figure out if I’m cool or warm. I bought some silver and gold lamee fabrics to test it myself. Gold makes me look a bit pink, lighter in complexion and skintone looks more even. Silver makes me look more tan but I feel like my imperfections are slightly more visible. Which one am I??? 😭

No, for paint red and yellow are primary. Magenta is red blue. Light colors are different tho.
