very relatable, I've built a few projects that previously I was thinking too much on code quality and adding extra nice features, I was losing too much time on it. Then I realized that companies, at least the businessmen, don't care about the code, only other devs might nitpick on the code quality. I decided to stop adding more features and use the KISS design principle 'keep it simple, stup1d!" to finalize projects sooner and make more project numbers to try and get a software dev job quicker, wish me luck xD great video btw
Big reason of unhappiness is definitely introvert people and their lifestyle. If dev is a introvert and has remote work, he will spend most time at home. Such lifestyle is unhealthy and causes a bad mood, plus leak of real life people communication also makes situation worse

my company wants quantity over quality so, as of now, i've stopped improving the code and let the spaghetti codes do the magic
