The song itself is more or less about grieving I believe or about dealing with a part of yourself that makes you feel negative - this album was really a lot about losing Paul so most of the songs are really about the loss and the mourning / feelings that came with it. Others believed it was about the Devil due to the lyrics - which for the lesser initiated could be a reasonable misconception. I also remember you said how you love double bass kicks in another reaction video, why not treat yourself and look up this Japanese band called LOVEBITES with the tiny thunder machine Haruna on drums, their musicianship is phenomenal, two brilliant lead guitarists in Midori & Miyako(also a classically trained pianist) who will blow you away, a powerful bass player who holds the rhythm effortlessly, and the soaring voice of ex R&B/Soul singer Asami. They only started on the road in 2017 and will only get bigger, they are imo THE heavy metal band of today, playing retro style 80's heavy metal/hard rock with influences from Maiden, Slayer, Metallica, Judas Priest, Helloween, Gary Moore while putting their own signature on things, they also sing in English, please check them out, when you see them your ears will think your eyes a playing tricks on them, trust me you will not be disappointed, preferably watch them LIVE they're fantastic. I thought this song was pretty heavy and cool when it first came out but hearing it now, man, you can definitely hear the lack of Paul and Joey, not only on this song but the album as a whole. Pretty terrible in hindsight. The music just feels repetitive, stale, and has no soul or organic energy. The video has something to do with a ritual involving a dead goat, but at this point in the band's career I think many of the hardcore fans gave up caring and never fully delved into the deeper meaning of the video.
