» WHERE IS NEPHI FROM?
I am native to Bacolod City in the Philippines but in the recent years I have been moving and living a lot in different countries like Singapore, Japan and the US due to the nature of my work. I was in the US when I started this channel but I am currently in Indonesia thus the confusion to some where I am truly based.
» MUSICAL BACKGROUND
Former band vocalist of Akita performing at K-Pub in Ayala Cebu, Philippines (2019-2020)
Former band vocalist of Big Three Band performing in Yokohama 7, Yokohama, Japan (2014-2016).
Former member of the Filipino Voice Symphony (2010-2011) where I was taught by professional chorale singers (e.g. former soprano from UP Madrigal Singers). Our singing group bagged the "Gold Medal" in the International A cappella Championships held in Singapore in 2011.
Former university choir and singing trainer at Technological University of the Philippines Visayas.
» WHAT IS THE GREATER GOAL?
My mission is to promote music among different regions and try to make people from different countries relate to each other through music and singing. I have always believed that even small gestures in understanding similarities and differences towards others actually lead to greater awareness about countries and their people.
In this modern world full of things that divide humanity, it is but perfect to put efforts in re-uniting and building bridges among all of us.

Mori always surprises us by coming out with such new sound and style, i think this is her first English-Bisaya original song. It's a fusion not only of two languages but also of genres of music, pop, jazz, R&B, bop and rap. That rapping part is fire 🔥. It has a nice catchy beat and groove, parang dapat gumawa ng dance choreography para dito. 💖
And the video, wow! 😍 Although it's a visualizer/lyric video, it can actually work as the official video already, reminiscent of her "Mirror" visualizer/lyric video from her Signature EP. Mori covered a Jessie J song and used a photo shoot for the Video, it had a very fast rap, I'm englisch and I cannot rap or talk that fast.
Only Mori has this hollywood vibe. I feel like this song is the combi of Ariana's God Is A Woman and 7 Rings. Just that Mori sealed this with pure artistry and authenticity..
