    Bisaya, that's our dialect and every time I hear it, chills, literal chills and the word "gigil". The aggression, it's biting me down. Perfect song for breaking up, similar to Kelly Clarksons' Stonger ( What Doesn't Kill You).

    KZ and Mori both speak Bisaya as their native dialect from the south of PH.
    The title of the song as well as the percussive part that you cited are in Bisaya. I think Bisaya is really more percussive than PH's Tagalog dialect.

    Not sure I know the answer to this but perhaps you do. Music is universal but is there a difference between a U.S/UK sensibility vs a Filipino one? Referring to styles, choices, grooves etc. For example......Morissette is a big fan of key changes which are not popular in pop songs in the west.

    • @Beldvlmnt
      @Beldvlmnt 2 года назад +7

      Yes! Right down to how their native instruments respond and play, song writing changes as freely as paint and a canvas! I wouldn’t be surprised if she wanted to exercise her range not only for the fans but because it probably feels good too
