This hour is probably the best in the Ali documentary series so far. A lot of information. Much appreciation for continuing to educate us. Blessings and much success. ❤️🌹😇🥊🙏🏽🎉XO
You’ve absolutely amazed me with your detailed research. Ali was # 1 but most wanted to see him get beat. Chuvalo was thought by many to beat a “washed” Patterson. Floyd surprised everyone and fought on and really well, for years.A truly great chapter in this great time capsule. You have me totally enthused bro.,
Good stuff, Blood! Politics, alphabet shenanigans, bogus belts, TV/radio/media rights, religion, racism, culture, cash cows and millions of dollars. "The good old days."
This is very well done with great attention to historical context and detail. The author deserves accolades for gathering all the media to support his research. Big bad bravo!!👊🏽👍
Great job! Ali's battles with the WBA around the mid-60s are much less covered than his issues with boxing's governing bodies later in the decade when he refused to fight in Vietnam imo.
Liston was rough and mean, but also terribly mistreated. As somebody with few true friends, you can see how loyal he was to them. The fact that he and Williams were so close, after nearly beating each other to death, shows the human side to fighters.
Ha..at present watching the 1980 year in review of the Heavyweight Series. A pivotal year imo. Weaver just knocked out John Tate....PEACE AND SALUTES TO THE GREAT DOCUMENTARIES! #RETROBOXING #RETRODOCUMENTARIES #THEWORK
@couldbeanyone8174 Bro come on now...yes Henry got in a good amount of nice shots and he did knock down Cassius (as Muhammad was then known) in their first fight yet Cassius basically kept delivering constantly punches , combination punches to Henry's face to were he was bleeding so bad from his eye to were the referee had to stop the fight...and in their second fight Muhammad pretty much just repeated what he did to Henry in their first fight.

Can anyone imagine if Muhammad Ali was a southpaw heavyweight boxer ? 🤔 🥊

Hey, at 2.35, the body mass / sexy index / muscle index - where can I find this document or website please?
WBC + WBA = should join forces team up merge partnership work together and make a heavyweight belt. And call it ( WBCA ).
That’s less money for them.
So I don’t think that sh** will ever happen 😭

Salute Brother Bert
Chuvalo 7-5 Patterson
Cooper wanted no part of chuvalo
Why was Patterson so intent on fighting Liston when Liston just annihilated him twice?
A man's man.
I'm on this Blood. See yea in an hr
👏👏👏👏👏
How would they view the heavyweights of today, I wonder. 🤔
They would have thought they were entitled and lazy...especially Fury and Wilder
Ali damn near lost to Henry Cooper

Agreed, Cooper had that Ali hryptonite, w the left hook, but let’s be real…Ali won twice…decisively
