Hi! I'm curious as to why you don't make a solution and dip this. is it because the oxidizing solution would harm the electroplating on the crystal?

I often do make a solution and dip, it's much faster. I like painting it on for videos because it's fun. It looks awesome to watch it gradually change. It doesn't harm the electroplating on the crystal - the solution only works on gold and silver.
