Pillars of Support: Jim and Kay Clayton

The Claytons are among the most generous of the region's citizens, and ETHS is honored to be among the organizations benefiting from this support. Jim and Kay contributed to the campaign to establish the "Voices of the Land" exhibition, where the Clayton Country Music Gallery recognizes not only the couple's support of ETHS but also Jim's role as a country music performer and host of the popular "Jim Clayton Star Time Variety Show" on Knoxville television from 1960-1976. They are also charter members of the ETHS 1834 Society for Leadership Giving.
