I purchased one after a live tasting. I just don't think there is enough justification in blancos to warrant the extreme price variance. Get an El Tesoro and call it a day.
Wow 1st video I’ve seen from you guys, already hooked.. tried this about a year ago and I agree with Dillon on this one, but my reason I expected more from Enrique Fonseca..
Thanks for the vid! Have you guys ever tried the Glendronach 15 revival? If so, how did it compare to the original Glendronach 15? If anyone else has tried before, please feel free to chime in, please.
@@CuriosityPublic Wow, I'm kinda surprised you guys don't have one or have tried it. Supposedly, and please correct me if I'm wrong, they stopped making Glendronach 15? So they released the revival for a short period. I figured that's gotta be something you gents hunt for lol Edit: Nvm, forgive me, I rewatched your Drinkthrough (TM), and you guys have it. I guess I meant the "older" Glendronach 15 with the older juice instead of the revival you guys had.
Loved a pour of this I had at a restaurant. Hunting for a reasonably priced bottle now, but I was wondering if you guys have tried Don Fulano, also from NOM 1146. I see the Blanco in my market for $41 regularly. While I like the G4 and Fortaleza much better, both are regrettably getting very difficult to find here and it's looking like a substitute.
The Don Fulano is a very suitable replacement. Sadly, Fortaleza is like hen's teeth around me as well; had to order a bottle of still strength from some joint in San Diego. Delivered to NW Indiana it was $92. Love Fortaleza!
Dillon needs to lighten up on this one, your co-hosts aren’t “wrong.” Everybody is entitled to having personal opinion, and opinions aren’t facts. Tastings should be fun discussions, not ego trips dude

We need more videos. Once a week isn’t enough
Yeah, hoping to get back to 2 videos a week soon!

El Tesoro is $40 around me; punches way above its weight.
I’m beginning to wonder this as well … new to the tequila game .
I'm on my second bottle. This is amazing!
@12:53 “It’s almost like soda” 😂 Dillon, you kill me sometimes!
Was hoping you guys would review this. One of my favorites.
Guy with the Jurassic Park shirt woke up on the wrong side of the bed. He talked about this tequila like it was Jose Cuervo
This is retailing for 141.99 in 2023 thank you for saving my money !!!

That'd be an interesting comparison. Don't have a "pre revival" bottling to compare with unfortunately.

Loving these episodes

Don Fulano is great!

I don’t think you’ve reviewed it, but have you tried Arte Nom 1579? It’s delicious, but a bit too sweet for me. I wonder how the Fuenteseca compares
$100, jealous. $155 in my area. I wish I could grab it at $100.
Not sure what area you are but on the east coast every bottle of tequila these guys review is doubled or triple the price here. So jealous!
have you guys tried wild common 100 proof yet? its my fav tequila so far.
Watching on my phone and the sugars are leaking all over 🤣😂🤣
Great review
If you consider yourself a blanco person this is of course on your list.
Mature agaves is the whole show!
When you round out .5 or more aren’t you supposed to go up so shouldn’t it be an 80 ?
We always round down. The Ultimate Spirits Competition is designed to be difficult!
every team has to have a spaz...one of these is consistently NOT like the other 🤣
#1 blanco I tired additive free.

I wonder if that guy thought it tasted like sugar.
I thought El Tesoro won the blanco blind. No?
.....maybe that was the BBB; budget blanco blind?
I think El Tesoro was 2nd. Still a great blanco!
Sugar on the nose? Oof. I always say everyone has a different palate and nose but... nah man.
I like the sweet Tequila’s from the Los Altos High Lands
Private members are you kidding me more like loser members 🤣😂
