There's many a garden I visit and work in that I wish was mine, but this natural stream.... sigh. Thanks so much for your continued support, it really does make a difference :)
How lovely 🥰 If you made a long video of that waterfall at the end I could watch that all day! Imagine hours of the sounds of water and birds in the background ☺️😌
Hi Jessica, so sorry for the delay in acknowledging you, just trying to catch up with all the comments across the channel now. I must admit it was difficult to leave that site and the tranquility - when I'm back there soon I'll make a longer video of it for you, it's a great idea re having it on a loop for relaxation :) Very best wishes, Joel

They're permanently in the truck now... ha! Yes, some wonderful projects completed again this year and so many lined up for next year already, which means more and more videos of course! What an amazing place! Absolutely beautiful!
It really is, isn't it? I long for a garden like this, but I think we all do. The client is fantastic to work for and ensures this beautiful place is an absolute haven for nature, always looking for ways to improve and expand. I'll be back there again soon and film the next project - hope you are keeping well, best wishes - Joel
Love it! I would love to have a water feature like this in my yard.
Me too Joanne, me too! I'd never get any work done though :) Hope you're doing well, best wishes - Joel
I love your pond videos and that one is awesome!
Thank you Charlotte, so much. Hope you're doing ok, apologies that I've not been able to keep up with all the comments of late, but I'm working my way through them slowly! :) Best wishes, as always - Joel
Hi Joel. That's ok. You are a busy guy and I understand. I'm doing ok. Thanks. Fall is here so the garden is getting ready for winter. I took a ton of plants inside to overwinter. I don't want all my flowers dying so at least I can save some till next year. Take care and don't work too hard🤗@@WildYourGardenWithJoelAshton
Hey Joel! Wow! What an amazing garden, think that would be all my dreams come true. It's so lovely to have water in a garden, no matter how much. Best wishes.

Wow, that is really peaceful and tranquil, beautiful. Very nice. I wish that was my huge garden! Can you give advice on dealing with/controlling blanket weed in small bucket ponds...remove it all/partly/none etc....?
.a cool video keep up the great content.. Thank you…
Thanks so much Jorg, I really appreciate the encouragement and support, it really does make a difference. Best wishes, Joel
@@WildYourGardenWithJoelAshton Thank you very mutch... have a nice day.... see you….
thank you for sharing your expertise, i have something very similar, and keeping the natural gravity flow of water can be difficulit at times due to vegatation . This helps alot. wondering sometimes if removing duckweed and with frogs hoping around if doing right thing. But maintance nessceary to keep natural pond flowing. 😗
Very interesting to see that watercourse improve with a little help.
I have a question regarding the duckweed, did it become a blanket like that specifically because of the poor water flow, or is it related to nutrient levels in the water also.👍
Hi there Paul, sorry for the delay, just catching up with everyone. Duckweed is usually transferred by birds' feet and it does like a relatively high nitrate content to keep going, but once it's in, it's in! I like to see some duckweed in a pond, tadpoles really enjoy it, along with blanket weed of course in the Spring but it's worth keeping on top of :) Fish in ponds will take care of duck weed, but as we know they'll also "take care" of other pond life. Hope you and yours are well, best wishes - Joel
great transformation Joel and what a beautiful setting, on the subject of duck weed, I have a barrel pound that suddenly seems over run with it, are there any tips to get rid of it, or is it just a case of having to fish it out bit by bit?
Hi there Stewart - so sorry for the delay, just trying to catch up with everyone while on a tea-break as I'm on another large project at the moment - but yes, duck weed is best fished out when you can, but do remember that tadpoles absolutely love this as a food source in Spring so do leave some :) Hope this helps, and thanks for the support, it's appreciated - Joel
What a great garden for wildlife ❤. One question: I’ve always thought duckweed was good for ponds as it helps to stop the suns rays getting in and making algae and blanket weed. Is it just that this pond has too much?
Hi there Madeleine, apologies for the delay in acknowledging everyone, just trying to catch up now. Duckweed does help to shade a pool and keep it cool, but it can choke out other plants and sometimes prevent them from receiving light and compete with other pond plants for nutrients. I think a small amount actually looks nice in a pond, but as you say this one had just way too much. Hope you and yours are well - best wishes, Joel
🥰
Clay pipe was proberbly overflow pipe incase of flooding and I think the clear out and clean was the real issue.
Mayby im dumb, but i dont get what happened? Wouldnt the volume of water still be the same so any blockages would just act like a dam raising levels and increasing pressure? Hence pushing any blockages out of th way?
Ohhh no you need those fishing waders
Haha! Absolutely :)
An idyllic scene restored. I think you were too busy, but did you find any wildlife in or around there?
They should fish in the pond you could even put trout in it .
idyllic.
Certainly is :)
