I love this man with my whole heart, my Dad introduced me to his music when I was so little, and I still look up to him as one of the best DJs in the world
Wow, Zach. Almost 60 yrs old here, and that was one of the best interviews I've seen in a very long time. Great questions, great listening skills, complimentary yet wonderfully authentic conversation. Bravo! I really enjoyed how much I actually learned about Tiesto, so thank you. Well done!
@@PizzaIsBetter Yes, such a sad story! Another incredibly talented young man whom, it would seem, could have used better direction in keeping his feet firmly on the ground as his Star rose higher and higher. Just an opinion!
I have been following (And IN LOVE With) Tiësto’s music since I found it way back in, I think it was 2005 or 2006, when I was but a wee little lad, the age of 14 or 15! I realized later that I had heard him even further back during the summer of 1998 when I was 7! My Father was stationed at “Ramstein Air Base” in Germany, and he was really into Trance music himself! So that’s the time I first, truly realized how much I really did love Trance music (And by extension, A LOT of “Electronic Genres” in general)! I went to visit him in Germany and he played me a bunch of, what now days would be considered “Classic Trance” Artists, such as Scooter, Tiësto, Armin van Buuren, Etc. Fast forward again back to when I was in Eighth Grade and then my Freshman year of Highschool, I started “Actively” listening to three different types of music... 1-DeathCore (And I’m going to encompass, pretty much all “Warped Tour Bands” in This simply because I really loved pretty much all the bands that would play their, including “Pop Punk”, “EasyCore”, “MetalCore”, Etc.), And then 2-Emo Bands, such as “Hawthorne Heights”, “Brand New”, “Motion City Soundtrack”, “The Academy Is...”, “Bayside” (Essentially Victory Records Bands), and then 3-Trance/Electronica/Electronic Music of all kinds! I discovered “Crystal Castles”, “Cut Copy”, “M83”, “Breathe Carolina”, Etc! So this podcast I have been looking forward to, for almost 22 years now! Lol So from the bottom of my heart, thank you for this one especially! I really love your guests and the “Podcast/Show” a lot! It’s really awesome who you can get to come on here, Congratulations! :)
3 years later... just saw this interview for 1st time, of course Tiesto is a legend, but props also for the sincerity and genuine interactions, props to a lovely interview, great style, well done! Also Martin Garrix is extraordinary, props for giving him genuine accolades here. Thank you for sharing!
Wow this is an EDM Legend you guys!!! Very interesting this interview in a very good way!!! Anyone who has raved for almost 20 years KNOWS who this guy is during all this time!!! I feel bad for the kids today who only know him in EDC lmao
Tiesto always brings good vibes to his sets. Hope to make it to countdown this New Year’s Eve. Seen him in Omnia San Diego(hometown) Hakkasan, EDC, Escape, Beyond Wonderland. I always prioritize his sets.
16.40 I still listen to his old tracks daily I still have the attention span for classic tracks this man was king seriously check out his old tracks 👌🏻
Great catch w Tiesto! Been a fan of his since his legendary trance days. Only critique would be to ask some more questions that don’t have such an obvious answer. Otherwise, good interview! I’ll be looking to see if you get more of the best!
For all the younger fans and generations that love tiestos modern music, i suggest you listen to his sets from 98--2008 when he was doing trance, that is the REAL tiesto
Well he's multi genre,,...wouldn't hurt to give us a trance single mixed in with the new music. ....aaaammiii riiiiteee......????......you know....for the millions of fans!!
Exactly!!!! Even if he did the odd single...I'm honestly starting to believe he barely produced his great trance tracks, cause he literally won't even do a song nowdays
I think he's really pressuring tiesto with the studio creating process because i've been a fan of tiesto since 05 and i highly doubt that tiesto is capable of making anything that has been releasing these days. (except for his John Legend remix) I do not think he sound designs or anything.
YEA I SAID WHAT I SAID AND THE HOLY BIBKLE IS MY FAMILY'S AND NOT ANYONES AS I AM NOT THEM AND NOBODY IS AS I HEAR THEM FROM.ANOTHER AS NOT VOICE IN MY HEAD AS CRAZY OR MENTAL AS SANE NOT INSANE. I LOVE GOD
Tiesto is legend! Have watched him evolve over the years and he never disappoints me. RIP Avicii - you always have a piece of my heart ❤️
I love this man with my whole heart, my Dad introduced me to his music when I was so little, and I still look up to him as one of the best DJs in the world

@@PizzaIsBetter Almost 64 and still have mad respect for both Tiesto and Zach! Met Tiesto in Vegas a couple times. There's so much to love about him!
That's crazy! I hope to meet him one day along with others like guetta and garrix. I would've liked to meet avicii too but -
