- In this video I discuss the issues and possible resolves for the R5C and possible R5cmkii. This Canon camera was first introduced in 2022 with so much promise due to the problematic issues with the Canon R5. BUT hopefully with the right direction and an open ear/mind, @CanonUSA can put things together to make a better camera.

I've always been intrigued with the R5C but I'm too invested in Lumix to switch
@@Bigcookfilms it’s a good system. I’ve always wanted to try out the LUMIX but like you, way invested with Canon. The R5c is a hybrid for those that needed more from the cinema (photo wise). Thanks for watching
I have a eos rebel T7 & really looking to upgrade for my photography quality would you still recommend the r5c ?
Coming from a T7, I would say get the R5 as the price has just went down. It still has great features for your photography needs. If money isn’t a problem, then you can take a shot with the r5c as it has great video features but it’s a cinema camera first with photo features.. It all depends on what you’re shooting as well. But with either choice you can’t go wrong. Also the r8 is another great budget friendly choice. Thanks for watching. Let me know which you choose. 🙏🏽
Give your R5 II C suggestions to Canon.
They do listen to reasonable suggestions.
Canon does listen to their consumers. Hopefully they can put together a few of the wish list items such as the hdmi or even the Nd Filter or even the clog 2 that many people would love. Thanks for watching 🙏🏽
Horrible battery life killed it.
@@RayValdezPhotography the Battery life was definitely bad!! But where there is a will there is a way! Especially if you want to use it as a photographers camera first with cinema features. I personally just like the ergonomics of the r series cameras and the addition of the fan wasn’t too bulky so it served its purpose. I normally rig out my r5c so the power solution isn’t a problem. @JonesCollectiveMedia I have the camera but I like my c70s better. I do use the r5c on video jobs that need a few photos but I use my R3 more because it can switch back and forth faster
@@RayValdezPhotography I find the autofocus in the r5c better than the c70 but the c70 does have some good perks about it, especially with audio. Both are great to have; and the battery life is way better on the C70!
@@JonesCollectiveMedia The AF seems the same to me. Being S35 I have less focus issues with more DOF. Both suck in lowlight AF
@RayValdezPhotography I like the fact that it’s a s35 on the c70; but with the r5c you get the choice.
