You can tell when a preacher is preaching the True Word of God! It’s when there haven’t been very many likes or views! Sinners don’t like the truth, they would rather be made to feel good about their sin! Oh, but when God opens the eyes of a true believer, the true believer becomes convicted of their sins and gives Glory to God for His Righteousness!

After God gave me the Holy Spirit, I found proof that TV, movies, novels, music, video games and computer games are all sins, except Christian stuff that don’t have sins like sermons and Christian music words that gives messages. I found out that in them there is lying, stealing, adultery (Matthew 5:28 looking at someone with lust is adultery), fornication which is sex before marriage, revenge, murder, jealousy, pride=self-pity, hypocrisy, using God’s name in vain as a curse word, they are all idols (breaks 2nd Commandment) because most people can’t live without them and they love them more than God and more. Just read the 10 commandments for a list.

It’s only by the grace of God that he leads you to pray to him to destroy all your evil desires of watching TV or any sinful desires. When you pray to God to destroy all your evil desires of watching TV or sinful desires (Romans 6:6-7 and Galatians 5:24), Satan will intervene and extremely tempt you in watching the TV. But if it’s God’s will and if you are one of God’s elects, you will overcome it and God will destroy all your evil desires of watching TV. After God has destroyed all your evil desires of watching TV and if you are one of God’s elects, you receive the joy of the Holy Spirit for about 40 minutes. After the joy wears off, all existence of boredom no longer exists and you no longer burn out (psychology) anymore. That is when you have received the Holy Spirit

It's the WORD. The purer the word (the more accurately) the more zeroed in it is preached, the more delightful and exhilarating it is. It's also the Holy Spirit in you giving you the desire to hear God's word and confirming its power. Paul Washer does not water anything down. Yes, sometimes God's word can seem hard, difficult, confusing, convicting. But that's on the part of the hearer who may not have complete understanding.
I love the way he preached. How I wish that God will give me the same knowledge and wisdom so that I can preach as bold as he did... Thank you Pastor Paul I'm so touched yhe way you preached. I wish I can meet you someday if God's will.

That's great. I went through the same thing you did. Had my moment of regeneration in 2020 and I'm super spiritual but that's because of my Spiritual Awakening and TF journey situation. I know that God got my back through his mercy because he loves his children. How has your life been post regeneration as according to all of it, it's permanent, we are forever in him because we believe in him. Amen, god bless.

Claiming the name of Jesus in vain (3rd commandment violation) has been diluted to people yelling "JESUS CHRIST!" if they stub their toe. This is actually little to do with the 3rd commandment. The third commandment is broken when someone who claims to be a Christian consistently lives like the world. This causes people to believe that God does not exist or is not good etc.. because no change of behaviour has resulted.
I finally came to that understanding about this exactly to take on his name but to not show fruits worthy is taking his name in vain, truth is right in front of our face but it is the father who reveals, im learning true sound doctrine and not today's perverse licentiousness I was deceived that I was truly saved, by Gods mercy I am striving to renew my mind and to forsake all lies and sin in my life to truly reflect the One in whom I follow and not in name only

The Holy Spirit is changing me by his power. My desire is to draw closer to God. I want to have a relationship with God. I hate sin. God changed my view on sin and showed me how disgusting it is.
Amen !..as a new creature after being born-again, we do not WANT to practice sin...we hate it! I was a true believer when i grew up up to about 15,.. when i fell into sin, i liked it and never knew how i would ever get away of pornography. It had such a deep hook in me...there would be nights in the shower that i'd weep to God and promise Him i'll never do it again...only till the next day i would watch pornography and break my promise to God again...and again. Not that i forgot about my promise to God.... it's just, i loved my sin more than God. God let a stage 3 brain tumor 20 years later in my life in which docs could do nothing to help. When i was diagnosed, i fell on my knees because i knew where i was going soon...HELL ! I repent like never before and like that i turned by back on any pornography or looking and lusting after women. god gave me another opportunity to make right with Him. I am so thankful He did. The docs few months ago fell back in their chairs to see me alive after they gave me max 6 months to live (2 years ago). I could only say...."my God" as i lifted my hands tearing up. I have since diagnosis started loving people in my church and locally wherever i can. I had to unlearn the false OSAS doctrine and others in that time. I would read at least 6 hours Bible a day. I am so angry at myself for listening and believing in those OSAS pastors that guaranteed me that i won't lose my salvation...that made me not care if i sin...so what !!..right?!...i am saved anyways!...WRONG ! You can commit apostasy! Please people don't be as stupid as i was, God wants continuous obedience from us...a continuous relationship....a continuous repentance of newly slipped sin.
Someone who thinks OSAS is a license to sin isn't saved, someone who is truly reborn and saved will never even have the desire to apostatize
Continuous repentance is a false teaching, you can only repent once
If you need to repent more than once then all but one of those repentances were false and you didn't actually repent

When i first read about regeneration i understood it clearly what's all the fuss in this video or the other videos out here
Many Christians aren't even aware of this truth of how a person is saved, and so they just think that praying a prayer means you're a true Christian and it's destroying the "church" and defaming God. Many people are not saved but think they are because they've idolized man's free will.
Mostly because it’s a Calvinistic term regarding the doctrine of election, that God predestined those who would be saved and not before the foundation of the world “before they have done good or bad” part of “ordo salutis” if you look it up

I'm stuck. Any help would be appreciated. I always knew there was a God, but for most of my life I lived for this world and didn't care about sin and God/Christ. Now I know I'm saved, but I feel so ashamed about my old life, that it makes me feel physically sick. The anxiety and depression and self-loathing is so strong, most of the time I wish I was dead, in fact, not even dead, never born in the first place/unexistence. I don't understand why God/Christ love me. Like, I don't get it...

+Red Shift Hello I know exactly what you mean. What has helped me with those feelings is learning that it is the work of Satan to make us feel that way. He wants us to feel guilty and shame of our pass. Everyone has a PASS!! We have ALL falling short of the grace of GOD, but by HIS LOVE, GRACE and MERCY you and I are now saved, living a completely different life than before. +Red Shift Red Shift, praise God if you have repented and turned your back on your old life, and that you feel disgust, hate for your sin. But you must now look to Christ. You must look to what Christ did on the cross for you. He died so that you could be forgiven of your sins and so that you could be washed cleaned and so you could have a relationship with the Father. Forsaking your sin and looking to Christ ... believing that his death was sufficient to cover your sin will bring healing, forgiveness and restoration (a time of refreshing from the Lord ...Acts 3:19). If you have truly repented, you must look to Christ and God will cleanse your guilty conscience. You must believe what the Word of God says about how Christ came to save and restore you. Meditate on scripture. May I recommend that you read Romans chapter 5 and 1 John chapter 3. Also, my prayer for you is Ephesians 3:14-19. Meditate on God's word constantly ... not your feelings or your past. I would also like to remind you that Satan as well as our own our flesh would rather beat us up than just accept the love and forgiveness of Christ. It's like doing penance ... remember the old priests, monks that would flog themselves ... our conscience can do the same thing if we let it. If you are repentant about your sin, glory to God, now you only need to look to Son of God for salvation and keep looking to Him. As you do meditate on God's truth constantly (instead of your past), you will soon be able to be secure in the love of God. Faith comes by hearing the word of God ... don't lean on your own understanding. When Satan assaults you with your past say, "Yes, it's true. But, Christ died for me. He has saved me, washed me, cleansed me and me new. Now, I belong to Him. Glory to God, my sins are washed away ... God remembers them no more .... as far as the East is from the West ... so have my sins been removed from me." God's truth will set you free. God bless you.
Salvation is a Free Gift.GOD does NOT force people to BELIEVE. Jesus pleads with people to come to him and many did. My friend, to be Christian is not only to love God but to fear him, to fear him is to know him and to know him is to be wise (proverbs 9:10). If you don't fear God, it is because you do not know him nor the attributes that make God, God. If the word of God is read in faith from Genesis to Revelations, you will fear and there will be trembling at times. In Jeremiah 32:40 the Lord proclaims that he will keep fear in our hearts lest we turn and perish, are you fearful of the Lord? Examine your faith my friend because if you are not, it may be because you are not of Christ, born again. How do you view God?..Examine.
Keith Thompson But what about love, isn't God a god of love? I always thought that the fear that the bible meant wasn't literally fear, it was more like recognizing he is God and giving him the place that he deserves, because he is God. I think every human being has a huge necessity of being loved and God is the only one that can satisfy our never ending necessity of being loved.

God's wrath is upon the unrepented sinner day in and day out as he kills people each and every day. God is not tolerant of sin as people think he is, look at the destruction you see in this world, guess who takes credit for it? God. Yes God is love, but only for those in CHRIST, regenerate and born again children of God, are you one of those? You are to deal out your salvation with fear and trembling because if you are not, there is wrath awaiting you. I ask you to read the complete OT and then tell me how tolerant of sin you think the Lord is, how loving you think he is to those outside Christ. When the word tells us to fear the Lord, even those in christ, it does so for an important reason, because he is fearful. Your wimsicle view of God is due to not having understood nor read the bible.

Regenerated people are new creatures who have new desires to please God and we have the ability to obey God now. Yes, we will sin but not living a lifestyle of sin continuously, because God disciplines us back on the path of righteousness.

As Christians, we will be tempted and be overcome by sin at times, but We won’t stay in that lifestyle, but will be convicted by God to repent and live righteously. Our new converted nature (in-dwelt by the Holy Spirit) will see to that.

It is believed that anyone who has blasphemed is not worrying about that, and since no man comes to God if not attracted to him (by the Holy Spirit), such person will never seek God, or forgiveness. You understand no one knows God unless God reveals himself to the person right?

@@anuraghpaul9772 It is believed that attributing the works/miracles of the Holy Spirit to Satan is the sin against the Holy Spirit. Have you heard of Charles Spurgeon? I also had difficulties thinking that I could never been forgiven but, after listening to his sermons, I have been encouraged and faith has been given to me to keep looking to Heaven, to Jesus. I remember mainly this passage, that Jesus can save to the uttermost, perfect salvation, where no guilt is left to us. By saying you cursed, this tells me you're a sinner and know it. Jesus is no small savior. As a matter of fact, there is no sin that Jesus' blood can't wipe clean. He can save to the uttermost.
The instance we have in the Bible of what the sin against the Holy Spirit was, was against those who believed they were good enough, not sinners, they could see enough, not poor souls who walked in the darkness and lost who needed a savior. Jesus is Savior for lost sinners, who offended God and has no hope and need a savior to intercede for them, to plead for them before God. There is a reason God didn't send a super angel to die for us, but his very and only Son. God has no obligation to listen to any creature, but he will and always listen to his Son, of whom he said he put all his love, affection in. Go to Jesus, he said he won't push away those who come to him.

11:11:00 - Is it possible to grow up as a false convert (as Mr Washer's wife), then to deny the "faith" for 3 years, then become a real believer. I'm sure I was a false convert, who didn't like church and tried to read the Bible, but it offered little enlightenment, though I did learn quite a bit of theology while looking up answers to atheists, which seemed exciting.
I wasn't going to church anymore, when I started drifting into sin. In order to enjoy it, I told myself all the scientists must be right, after all, and there is no God.
But after years, I started wondering how far morality can be pushed, if morality doesn't matter. If anything goes, due to the world being an accident, why did I so hate some things. God's law started to, slowly, become real to me -- something people needed, if the world was to be okay.
Didn't take long, then, for me to realise "I think I've made a big mistake," and I wept for a long time in repentance, knowing I was so unworthy of such a great God and beautiful saviour. That was 10 years ago now, and I rarely miss church (enjoyable & honours God) and am increasing in convictions and my desire to follow the Lord.
But sometimes I'm very confused and even more troubled by the apostasy verses and warnings. There are so many of them, that I now seem to read one every day in the Bible, no matter what portion! I'm on my 3rd day of fasting to ask God for closure or assurance. I have an ongoing trial of my son being very angry and hurt over my refusal to say gay is okay, which used to give me assurance, but -- in light of the onslaught of these passages -- my assurance is ...
Surely I was a false convert in my youth. What if I wasn't -- am I redeemed now. I'm so confused.

I think a lot of parents are scared to discipline because when we were kids discipline was going too far. When we became parents we say we will never do that to our kids. Back in the 70s and 80s discipline could be cruel. I can’t treat my kids the way I was treated. I think I might have been hated by my parents.
When we believe we are regenerated by the Holy Spirit of promise. Ephesians 1:13-14. Our Soul/Spirit is saved, but not the flesh. It is not regenerated. That is why we all die. Flesh and blood can not enter the kingdom of God. Only our soul/spirit is saved.
First John 3:9 Whosoever is born of God doeth not commit sin, For His seed, (the Holy Spirit) remaineth in him, and HE, (the Holy Spirit) can not sin, because He is born of God. But we still do. First John 1:8 If we say we have no sin, we deceive ourselves, and the TRUTH is not in us. We can not be made perfect in the flesh, only in the Spirit.

When we trust Jesus as our only hope of heaven, He gives us His perfect righteousness, and takes all our sin. What a trade. And it is free. Then He makes a scene by expressing His desire to be their God, knowing very well they can’t believe unless the Spirit of God gives them faith first so that they could effectually grab hold of the truth! I have been listening to this talk for 45 minutes and head many anecdotes but very little theology.
Poul preaches the law in a very subtle and cunning way, so that it sounds like the gospel. But that is the law he preaches.
Some people have in Christ a new Moses, with even more commandments and rules than the first Moses. It is very sad.
A problem with the pig analogy is that it makes people think that the Fall made man subhuman. It also leaves the impression that Christians are superior in makeup to non-believers. When in truth, regeneration gave THE SAME rational human constitution the ability to believe the Gospel. We are no different from unbelievers except that we believe THE WORD. Certainly a supernatural act of God. But it's nothing special or superhuman about US.
But wait....
Calvinists believe regeneration comes before "Christ." Washer and calvies believe you must be regenerated/born again/saved first. (THEY ARE ALL THE SAME STATUS).

No matter how slow Washer talks, he still gets it wrong.
Unless a person is regenerated, they have no desire to believe in anything except themselves and a god of their own imagination. Before we were regenerated, we were dead in sins. We loved our sins more than we loved God. So yes, regeneration comes before Faith in anything outside of ourselves. Calvinism is not the issue. Christ is. Look at the Golden chain of redemption in Romans 8:29-30. There has to be a call before we are justified which is another word for regenerated by the blood of Christ.

But how are people to call upon Him Whom they have not believed [in Whom they have no faith, on Whom they have no reliance]? And how are they to believe in Him [adhere to, trust in, and rely upon Him] of Whom they have never heard? And how are they to hear without a preacher?
So faith comes from hearing, and hearing by the word of Christ.

Regeneration
REGENERATION - the spiritual change brought about in a person’s life by an act of God. In regeneration a person’s sinful nature is changed, and that person is enabled to respond to God in faith.
The word “regeneration” occurs only in the New Testament (Mat 19:28; Tit 3:5), but the concept or idea is common throughout the Bible. The literal meaning of regeneration is “being born again.” There is a first birth and a second birth. The first, as Jesus said to Nicodemus (Joh 3:1-12) is “of the flesh”; the second birth is “of the Spirit.” Being born of the Spirit is essential before a person can enter the kingdom of God. Every biblical command to people to undergo a radical change of character from self-centeredness to God-centeredness is, in effect, an appeal to be “born again” (Psa 51:5-11; Jer 31:33; Zec 13:1).
Great religious experiences like that of Jacob at the Jabbok (Gen 32:22-32), Moses at the burning bush (Exo 3:1), Josiah on hearing the reading of the Law (2Ki 22:8-13), or Isaiah in the Temple (Isa 6:1-8) might well be regarded as “new birth.” Thus, regeneration involves an enlightening of the mind, a change of the will, and a renewed nature. It extends to the total nature of people, changing their desires and restoring them to a right relationship with God in Christ.
The need for regeneration grows out of humanity’s sinfulness. It is brought about through God’s initiative. God works in the human heart, and the person responds to God through faith. Thus, regeneration is an act of God through the Holy Spirit, resulting in resurrection from sin to a new life in Jesus Christ (2Co 5:17).
This is the only area I disagree with Paul Washer. With continuing in sin and a born again person becoming lost again, Paul argues that a new nature that hates sin will not choose to remain in it, hence giving the new creation security. This is logical, but I am sure you will agree with me that part way in your Christian walk there are sins you hate and sins you still like until later on.
For instance I was never enticed by sodomy or cigarettes even before I was a Christian, but I still liked porn and alcohol, then the Holy Spirit put me off these things, with conviction, prayer and obedience. I still liked laziness/doing nothing, shopping on Saturday (the Sabbath day) and eating the unclean animals, and ungodly music and I didn't like sharing the gospel.
Now what happens is if you continue in a sin you still liked, maybe even one of those "sinlets" you hesitate to give the name sin to, lest you must confront it in their lives. It can over time, begin to dull your palette and bring back desire for other sin.
I believe the more mature a Christian gets, the harder it is to actually bring back their desire to sin. A baby Christian is like a soft magnet. It is magnetized easily, but loses its magnetism quickly. A mature Christian is like a hard magnet - takes more effort to magnetize but holds its magnetism far better.
The catch of course is in the unlikely event that a mature Christian over the course of several years allows themselves to be diluted and tempted out of the faith, it is considerably harder to reverse the damage than it is for someone who never got to maturity.
THIS is how falling away happens. Lucifer is primary example. How did he go from righteousness lover to sin lover? Little by little, plus the fact that sin was an unknown curiosity and could have been perceived as an advantageous way to live. It is possible however, to be such a sin lover that it's impossible for anyone - man or God to make you want to be a righteousness lover. (This is addressed in Hebrews 6)
When all sin has been got rid of, plus the curiosity of sin through the knowledge of what happened on earth (e.g. in the new Kingdom) this creates total security.

Tim Lewis Make sure you're going to the scriptures for your understanding of someone born again and someone lost. ie the book of 1 John. As a true Christian reads and studies the scriptures and spends time with other obedient Christians, they won't be tempted very much with these sins you've mentioned because of the indwelling Holy Spirit within them.
