Some great passes guys. Love to know what the voltage was on your batteries after those runs ? Were you running Bills 1817's CNC ?
What KV / Esc and batteries were running please ?

@@marcandreasson87 Running Oxidean Marine Pair CNC High rake propeller 45.7mm (1817) 3/16 bore. The props keep breaking when you run over 100 mph. The boat has too much power for aluminum props with the twin 1650kv setup. The ears also break on the props too over 100 mph. Both ESCs stay super cool 90° and motor temp 80° running 10 to 15 minutes non stop. Twin 8s running (4) SMC 5200mah 150c battery temp 75° these props are great running 100mph and down that's why you see in most videos were not pushing the boat hard only 70%-80% full throttle. (4) sets of (1817) props broke but at $90 a pair its hard to say no more. The dog drive prop holder broke off the connecting part of the blue propeller smooth off on both props. We will be going ABC props soon through Bonzi sports then going dasboata soon the goal is 150mph the boat definitely can do it just a matter of prop selection. The ESC's are the stock ones in the boat when you choose the ARTR twin 1650kv animal cat 2. Not sure the specs on the ESC but it's capable of running twin 8s if you choose the 1650kv setup. My only complaint is the rudder blade breaks alot. We've ordered 25 rudders and broke 7 so far. My advice is to order the shorter rudders from ali baba express. They break less and have a deal for $12 each for just the blade instead of paying $69 each for the whole assembly is through TFL north america or bill oxidine site. Look up the TFL zonda on ali baba website. The rudder and rudder assembly is the same because the boat zonda and twin animal cat 2 are the same both built by TFL China. If you have any other questions feel free to ask.

Heya, thanks for the detailed reply. Yeah I was reading on forums the CNC props don’t hold up too well around the 100 mph mark. ABC or stainless steel I believe is what’s needed. Oxidean Marine has A46’s which from memory are 1817 equivalent. They’re stainless steel too.
With your rudders do you hit objects in the water where you run a lot and the rudder breaks? Or are they just breaking ? Does the TFL rudder have a ‘ break away ‘ feature where when you an object the rudder kicks back up and prevents the hardware from breaking away from the transom ? I envoy you having access to SMC batteries. Here in Australia they are next to impossible to get. Have you tried pushing your batteries right the way forward or at least 1/2 inch at a time until you see she’s holding steady and doesn’t want to blow over ?this way you I think you can get on the throttle more.

@marcandreasson87 when going 90+ mph with the 1817 high rake 1.9 pitch props from bill oxidine, the props produce a ton of lift due to the design. As long
As you're going 85mph and down there should be no issue. As you know catamaran boats flip a lot due to the design even in the professional sport then combine that with a heavy lifting prop and you have a boat that will pop a water wheelie any time you hit the power no matter the tune and the wind under the boat will cause it to fly in the air and do back flips is ultimately damaging the is rudder on impact. Water has no give so it's like hitting the ground. That's why we are going to a prop with more speed and less lift to keep the boat down at high speeds. When the boat flips at high speeds the rudder will bend into a U shape easy. I've tried to strengthen them out with my hand at the pond and while this works the rudder still dosnt look fully straight but will run fine up to 90mph you hands will get cut bad and bleed so where some gloves. The boat is really heavy and sits right above the water almost looking like a submarine when sitting still with 4 batteries inside. 9 times out of 10 if the boat flips in the air the rudder will be bent when it comes back to earth lol. Sometimes I can't bend the rudder back. Seeing the youtube video of the boat running does not do it justice. This boat is truly amazing. It's very easy to tune and ride like it's on rails. The batteries are all the way at the front of the boat. I cut the foam in a way that you could slide the batteries all the way to the front and the boat will still lift out the water if you squeeze the trigger at any speed. You have to ease into the accelerator anytime you're running this boat or it will ride a wheelie or do a back flip even with factory props. Rcboatbitz is in australia and me and my friend's order a lot of products from him and email him about upcoming products. I'm hoping.
That he will produce turn fins and trim tabs for my new boat the super sonic wake 48 i plan on running 12s-14s with the new hobby wing V4 300a esc i ordered last week. CNHL china hobby make great batteries comparable to SMC and also gen ace too. Let me know if you have any more questions :-)

@ thank you. Yes I’m heavily invested in CNHL at the moment. RCboatbitz is a cool company to deal with. Bought a few items from them. They’re in my home state. Pretty local too.
Interesting to hear how you’ve pushed the batteries right up front and it’s still lifting. I have the 1650 /200 animal, not yet run my maiden.
More CNHL arrived today 😀. I need to organise a rescue boat before I take her out. I think I’m going to buy an inflatable kayak.
following your Animal runs with interest. Keep on it 🤟👍

@@marcandreasson87 inflatable kayak is the easier way. We have a tug boat from horizon hobby to grab the boats that flip over. My friends animal cat has twin 300a ESCs let me know how your boat runs post some videos. I can't wait to see it run.
