Hey Dylan, I'm a former grocery store employee and I can definitely tell you your knockoffs are actually just the generic brand of the item. Same item sold in different packaging for cheaper. It's basically the store's equivalent, which means the store gets more of the profits versus the name brand item
It's the Costco model - Kirkland goes right to the manufacturer and gets the exact same product created. Often times grocery store brands are lesser quality, Costco is equal
@@Dylan Yeah, the York Peppermint patty (owned by Hershey) is what the Thick Mints are knocking off. You'd find cookies like Keebler Grasshoppers as a fair "knockoff" of Thin Mints from Girl Scouts. Try them! Make a YT short with the updated test!
Oreos have the design on both side but sometimes the odd oreo as one of it's biscuits flipped and the design is facing the cream, i've had that happen a few times.
Hey Dylan! Pro tip!!! The reason girlscout cookies have different regional names: there’s 2 different factories that make them. One of which is the ABC factory which also owns KEEBLER. So if you’re buying keebler grasshoppers (thin mints) or coconut dreams (caramel delights/samoas) you’re getting the genuine deal girlscout cookie, in higher quantities for less money, year round!!!! Like much more, like Oreo family pack more. LIFE HACK. But of course seasonally do continue to support your scouts because cookie sales fund most of their outings/trips and supplies!
I think you need to blind taste-test them to really compare the two! Sometimes when we see what we're eating our minds could think one is better than the other just because we know it's the original one. Idk but I hope you give it a try.
Hey bro, love your content. I think you’re missing the point of why giggles was created. A 2019 study and lawsuit showed that Skittles are unfit for consumption due to the excessive levels of titanium dioxide. This agent was banned in the European Union in 2022. Additionally, the food dyes used aren’t natural in Skittles versus Giggles using natural food dyes. Thought I’d let you know.
The fact you did “Sour Jacks” a brand I never heard of over another you tuber product like JoyRide or something makes me respect your videos even more. Brings real authenticity and didn’t seem forced. Well done as always!
Oreos is a knockoff of Hydrox the only reason oreos is more successful is because they had better PR. Ive had Hydrox they taste better they taste like oreos used to taste
18:32 Oreo does print on both cookies , I think you got a unique pack where your missing one and one side of the cookies are upside down .. that’s super weird and cool
I got some knockoff Oreos at the Dollar Tree yesterday and I was surprised how good they tasted. They were double stuffed and a little less sweet than Oreos but no bad aftertaste like most have.
This helps me, I make a treat for my grand son at Christmas where you crush the Oreo and add some cream cheese, then dip them in melted white chocolate, he loves them but grandma got laid off her job a month ago so I really gotta be frugal
It's funny because most "name brand" are getting their products from the same distributors and just running up the price because you'll pay it. I will almost always buy the cheaper generic option when it comes to groceries.
Some of these generic brands even adds their own extra ingredients, or they could be missing some, i am pretty sure they already get their ingredient/recipe from the original, in some way or another, they are just packed by the supermarkets
The reason why knock-off versions of Mountain Dew taste better than regular Mountain Dew is because they aren’t mimicking Mountain Dew they’re mimicking Mellow Yellow which is a superior citrus flavored drink compared to Mountain Dew which is better when it’s one of the many many flavors
Hey Dylan, I have a great suggestion, surely many people have also included this in their comments but if you want, you could compare thin mints with Keebler's "grasshopper" cookies. fun fact about the hydrox cookies i got from my friend: they were able to stay a little relevant after Oreo came out because they were kosher, and Oreos weren’t. but then Oreo made their recipe Kosher😅
Thick mints are not a knock off of girl scout thin mints. Thin mints are a cookie. Thick mints are a knock off for York peppermint patties or even junior mints a chocolate coating over a peppermint crème. Great video as always anyway can’t wait to see more 👍
How funny I’m literally sitting here eating thin mints right now I didn’t even know you would be featuring that candy. Some lady at my job gave it to me for Christmas.😂

At a gathering of close friends, I found that more and more friends began to pay more attention to personality and stories rather than simple brand labels. Inspired by this, I began to explore bags that can reflect personal style without being too expensive, and kislux helped me find a bag that suits my taste. This bag is both low-key and cheap, and there is really nothing wrong with it.
I really love kislux bags. The fabric is very good. The golden embellishments add a touch of beauty. When I went to the church, I received some praise.
😭😭 Those weren't cookies, they said on the package "creamy minty center covered in chocolate", they do sell actual thin mint cookie knockoffs. (Not sure if that brand does but I've seen knockoff thin mints)

OFFBRAND SODA IS SO GOOD.
The brims pork skins you get every one of them eat the entire amount unlike the golden flake.
Did the thick mints even have cookie in it? If it didn’t, wouldn’t that make it a knock off of a York peppermint patty?
Exactly my thought, this one made me Angry
Came to the comments for this. I was yelling at the TV .
It looked like they were York patties but thicker. So I’m pretty sure they’re not the knockoff of thin mints.
exactly what i said
Yeah these are York peppermint patty knock offs. But maybe he knew that and wanted an excuse to eat girl scout cookies

Sun Drop started in my state of NC and didn't go national until like a decade ago. You used to not be able to find it in a few states.
