What version demul are you using and did you figure out a way to remove the error "HRESULT = 80070057 is an invalid argument and IDirectInputDevice8 CreateEffect FAILED"? I think it only appears when you have a dinput device connected like a logitech wheel. I am using the G29 and I get the error in every version of demul. Thanks
@@DarthMarino I did a little digging and it appears boomslangz fixed it with his ffb plugin a while ago. I'll test it out later and let you know. Thanks.
@@DarthMarino Nevermind. Boomslangz's ffb plugin didn't remove the error:( I'll reach out to him since according to his FFB plugin 2.1, it should have removed it. I tested on multiple demul versions.
Hi ! Is that a G27 ? How can you make the pedals work on DEMUL ? I've added the combined pedals option to a profile for demul but it still doesn't work properly. Once inside the game both pedals only work for Accelerating but in different values, one increases acceleration, other decreases it, but none acts as the brake pedal :(
I played around with this today and finally got it. I have the pedals separated. I manually edited the padDemul.ini file with the following values in the JAMMA0_0 section: ANALOGUP = 33554689 ANALOGDOWN = 33554693
Wow, you must have a very beefy machine. My PC is very powerful but not like yours. My system has a Intel i5 4590, 3.3Ghz(3.7Ghz Turbo) with a Nvidia GeForce GT 1030 2GB. How fast is your PC. Maybe your machine has a very powerful CPU and GPU. For some reason, the game will drop frames while the sun glares. Usually it very noticeable because the draw calls which one of the demul devs told me. Because the game utilizes on the Naomi 2, it requires a beefy system because of the Naomi 2 architecture has two CPU'S and GPU'S as well as more memory and sound. I know there's one game that is very difficult to emulate which is called Wild Riders. It runs very well on my system.
I made this on my older computer which wasn't anything incredible. I would get frame drops when the sun would first come up. Usually on Demul it slows down the first time it encounters a graphical effect like that but not so much on subsequent occurrences. Once you exit the game though it doesn't save that video cache.

I always get that error. Not sure which version I used when I made the video.
