This song gives 90's love ballad, and I actually like it. It's the most pop driven song on the album, but I can't hate on it. I really like her open vocals on this album, and every song is different. The synths on Chihiro are amazing. I fell in love with the song immediately.
I actually thought immediately of an unhealthy obsession/suicidal relationship song based on the lyrics, which contrasts deeply with the upbeat/positive delivery.
For me this song reminds me of sibling love, specifically my kid brother. The whole second verse hits hard just reminds me I have a built in bestie that is my forever favorite person you know.
