Im 54 years of age and ive NEVER heared such an amazing song in my entire life that even comes close to the vocals and musical arrangement of this song. From beginning to end you just want to put the track on re[eat all day and you could never be bored of it.....
I’ve always said that one of the special things about Billie is her ability to convey real and RAW emotion through her music..which is why I feel like so many people connect with her music in such a passionate way. She’s special. There’s no comparing her to other pop stars. Her and Finneas are in their own genre. Alt pop is what I’ve heard them called. But I don’t think they want to be labeled.
That was a great reaction, especially with the lyrics. Yes those siblings are special. Goes to show you can write any genre once you learn the fundamentals. I am most stuck by their maturity in songwriting skills.
Great reaction. I was a big Taylor fan from Red to the 2 pandemic records but she has lost me with her 'epic era; ... but I am a huge Billie and Finneas fan for years. 19 Grammys and 4 Oscars between them. Billie is a once in a gen. talent and just 22 now. Billie can make u cry and love in the same song. You should hear the rest of the new album!!! Thanks.
Loved ur knowledgeable reaction! 'The Greatest' and 'Chihiro' are very good also but the album was made to be a full album listen, the songs flow. @@JeanetteMusic
Nice reaction 👌 I've been listening to this song ever since I've heard it used as an Audio in many Instagram reels ❤ I love how you explained the breakdown of the song where it didn’t need a bridge which was such a nice refresher since it just seemlessly blended into a more elevated last chorus... like how it goes quieter just before the last chorus 😍😍😍 Also, one thing that I noticed with the melody of the last few chords there is that it reminded me of the intro for "Dust in the Wind" 😯 That’s why many folks have said it has an 80-90s vibe to it. Which is funny since that song's late 70's but it definitely has an old school tone to it.
Wonderful song where Billie took from the popular British proverb "Birds of a feather, flock together," and went her own way with it. Its a great song about people who have the same tastes will naturally congregate together. Billie is at her most vulnerable towards the end, because while she's "found someone," they seem to be growing apart because...life. Rumor is that its aimed towards her last BF, Jesse Rutherford, but only she knows the story :P Love your reaction, Jeanette, you read into it excellently! 🥰 This was THE song that I liked overall on the album, it just hit me in the vibes right out :D
I love the simple analysis in this reaction, great video! I'm not a Billie Eilish fan at all but I heard this song on the radio and absolutely fell in love
This is such a simple beautiful song.. go watch her SNL performance of this song that just aired it's brilliant.. and everyone forgets what a brilliant composer and musician Finneas is.. almost always there on all her great songs.. love your reaction video and especially your hair!
They say she can see, hear, and feel things that the rest of us can’t with some sort of 6th sense, but I feel like this is the closest we’ll ever get! She’s trying to take us there!
Thank you all SO MUCH for all the love on this video!!! thankyouthankyouthankyou ❤
