The comments are filled with hate on Bryan Scott. Yes, Shim was awesome. He set the bar high. So when Shim left, Bryan stepped up to the plate under great pressure. And I think he's doing a great job. You gotta respect him for that. The other option was Sick Puppies disbanding, and I don't think anyone would want that. Don't hate on Bryan for Shim leaving.
Without Shim, they are not "Sick Puppies" anymore!!! They are not playing old songs OFFICIALLY. They are making covers by this songs because Shim sang and wrote these old songs!!!
I agree Caleb! Bryan Scott is doing great. I love his attitude about the band and the fans. He didn't come to Sick Puppies with an ego or anything, he just seems very appreciative of everyone. Also, it finally looks like Emma has fun on stage with Bryan. Toward the end of Shim's days, Emma never looked happy up there. I still love Shim, and i support his independent stuff, but i also love Sick Puppies

I can hardly believe Anzai is actually as old as Federer. I saw her performing live very recently. She looked extremely slim and attractive. I was amazed at her youthfulness. Maybe she's been secretly taking some East Asian medicinal herbs or something. God bless her looks and stamina!

Bryan is a great singer! Like most, I didn’t like him initially because he isn’t Shim, but when you look at it as a separate band, he’s a solid frontman! Still hurts to hear him sing the old stuff though :(
Quite a bit. Audio is is terrible with this camera so I have to capture it separately and replace in post production. Still working on perfecting audio recording of shows. Loud shows are the hardest since they blow out the sound in recording and if sound recording is lowered you lose a lot of the dymanics.
+Jerzy Sobski Audio can be a real nightmare. It's a lot of testing and re testing until you get it perfect and without being able to do a sound check before the show its just that much harder
its a little different being that there is only one singer/guitarist, but i think the guy is awesome... its cool when a band can undergo major personnel changes and still retain most of their sound and energy
I had to search to find the different frontman for the band. And honestly the guy isn't bad I guess, but Idk after he stepped up it sounds like Generic Rock now. Just doesn't sound as good as Shim, which everyone else probably agrees on, but for what it's worth he isn't horrible, this just wasn't the place for him I don't think. Sick Puppies died without Shim, and that's all I feel. (Also, Shim returned with a new band so, that's awesome!)

I've worked more shows than I could ever count, and the bands often have it rough with fans when an original member leaves. Even more so if it's the front man. Not hating on the new singer, just missing the original them and the shows that set them apart from other bands.
Shim's voice and passion is what made me fall in love with the band. It tore me something odd when he was ousted, but I do appreciate them continuing to make music and Bryan not trying to mimic Shim. He sings the songs properly as the band wrote and recorded them, but he sings as himself and I'm glad. I now have 2 bands that emerged from the ashes of the fallout.
Okay here is my 2 cents worth okay this guy has a good voice not easy to play and sing at the same time but he is really good but for me Shim is a better singer and songwriter and of course it is not the same without his signature voice but that is the case with every other singer out there who leaves or dies case in point sebastian with SR layne with AIC etc but he is gone and i don't think he is coming back
I always want to go up to Emma and say "You don't have to pretend you're playing something amazing. You're playing Bass Guitar, we all understand what that means."
Dude idk if you are musically inclined or not but she is fucking amazing on a bass. For them to sound as full as they do for a 3 piece band she is doing way more than a bass player in a 5 piece by far
I give the new guy props for continuing the legacy of Sick Puppies... But singing the older songs, is just not the same. The guy lacks emotion and his voice isn't as hard, it's too soft. The only good thing is he puts more rock into it... I've listened to every Sick Puppies song ever made. Shim sang these songs better because he written them. Remember this, you can never outbest the original... Like Hinder and Three Days Grace, those bands haven't been the same since Adam Gontier and Austin Winkler left the band... Adam Gontier had the voice and the emotion behind it, Matt Walst doesn't... No one can sing "Lips of an Angel" better than Austin Winkler, Matt Dutton doesn't have the voice... And finally, listen to "Welcome to the Real World" from Sick Puppies, you cannot say that Bryan Scott is better than Shim. That album was the most heavenly music I've ever heard... I still love Sick Puppies, yes. However, Shim spoke out more to me than Bryan Scott... I love every single song of Sick Puppies before the Fury album... I'm sorry to break your hearts but The Fury album has about 3 songs I like, it's not all that good
Roberto Samudio I wouldn't judge his live preforming to Shim in the studio. Live takes alot more work. I daw them live. And they put on an amazing show. I didn't know about the singer change at that point. And I couldn't tell the difference (mind you, i was still new to SP)

i think this guy is awesome. i like every song on the new album. just treat it as a new band. i love emma too. even besides her being nice to look at, she is one of my top 5 bassists and has been influencing my current writing quite a bit

Sony RX100 m3 and m4. Audio capture is not the greatest and have to record audio separately and merge with Adobe Premiere
