Lyrics:
Pimp dolls, jam
Jigglettes, slam
Pimp dolls, jam
Jigglettes, slam
Just because I shake and party
And roll my sexy body
don't mean that I'm tryin to tease
Its called body talk
Its not like the walk
cause this time
you're wearin blue jeans
You rub your left leg slow
And let your body go
And do a little sexy scream
Jam, lets party out
Make your body sweat and shout
A visual sex machine
you're talkin
Body talk
Talk body to me, body talk
(talk body to me)
Body talk
Talk body to me, body talk
Jigglettes gonna slam
Pimp dolls gonna jam
Let your body talk to me
you're lookin real fine
you're workin overtime
you're footloose and fancy free
Now its all about the feel
cause now you know the deal
So pump your body cross the floor
And put it in the groove
Gonna make it real smooth
And then you'll want some more
you're talkin
Spoken:
Say baby, what's that you're doin?
Well, it looks like your body is talkin to me
I'm hearin something
what's that?
Go on, get it, girl
Sexy body
Sure looks good to me
Body talk with me
Your sexy body (oh baby)
Sure looks good to me
Body talk, slam
Come on and shake your body
I want to hear your body
So come on and shake your body
I want to hear your body
Your body, your body, your body
Your sexy body
Sure looks good to me
Body talk with me
Your sexy body (oh baby)
Sure looks good to me
Spoken:
Mmm, there she is again
I wonder what she was tryin to say to me
be -o-d-why t-a-l-k, ooh talk baby
I like the way you wa

Who's jamming today today, right now in and on this planet in 2024.👍👍👍🙂🎧
I remember this song when I was a kid in the 80's. I loved Miami Vice. I had a huge crush on Philip Michael Thomas🥰. The Deele is one of my favorite 1980's group.
Congratulations on being in the cincinnati black music walk of fame!! you guys deserve it!!
We need to have a 80s party 🙂
A great 1980s soul funk classic, that was used to perfection in Miami Vice's pilot episode.
Yes, I remember that! They just let it play!
Dude, I'm watching Miami Vice right now. Lol, that's what brought hear. I never watch the show when it came out back in the day. I was only a kid whose mom wouldn't let me. But is a great tv show for sure
Agreed
Same here...was 9 when it came on TV and wasn't allowed to watch it. But have since watched some episodes here and there and its good stuff.
Sure was, I'm actually watching the pilot as I type
I WAS EXTREMELY POPULAR IN HIGH SCHOOL. A POPULAR POPPING AND LOCKING DANCER. THIS WAS MY FAVOURITE POPPING AND LOCKING SONG. WHEN I WAS LEAVING SCHOOL, THE SCHOOL HELD A SEND OFF PARTY IN MY HONOR. THEY WANTED ME TO DANCE. THE LAST DANCE. THEY PLAYED THIS SONG. THERE WERE OVER 8THOUSAND PPLE PRESENT. THE WHOLE SCHOOL WAS JAMPACKED. THE WHOLE SCHOOL COMPOUND.
BY THE END OF THE SONG THE WHOLE SCHOOL WAS ON FIRE.
NOBADY PRESENT WILL EVER FORGET. THIS WAS IN 1986 OR SO.
AS I LISTEN TO THE SONG NOW. I GOT TEARS STREAMING DOWN MY EYES. THANK YU RUclips, THANK YU BrownPrider Funk. PEACE !!!
This hit by The Deele was heard on the series premiere of Miami Vice (September 16, 1984; Brother's Keeper). A memorable moment in television history.
Probably one of the best opening scenes to a show in TV history.
At that time, there was NOTHING like Miami Vice. Friday night TV, who wasn't hooked!
yup, that's where i heard this song for the first time. Thanks to youtube i can bump the funk everyday.
Where we met Calderone lol

Tubbs walking in the club with his fine self!!!!!
The whole setup in that first episode (waiting for Calderon, the punks, Tubbs entering the club,, the champagne spill) set the tune of the whole series. Classic!
Old school fun....and Tubbs was fine
That's all I think about when I play this song.
Damn, if he'd caught Calderone!

The Deele, featuring Darnell "Dee" Bristol and Carlos on vocals...Stanley "Stick" Burke on guitar, Kevin "Kayo" Roberson on bass, Kenny "Baby Face" Edmonds on keys and Antonio "LA" Reid on drums......One of the greatest bands from the 80's !!!!!!

Early 84 before Marvin Gay was shot by his father. 83/84 school era.
@@charlesrichardson2655 marvin sr was cruel ignorant man im.talking about marvin gayes father
@@oholm09 Yea I know. He also was a cross dresser as well as i believe he was jealous of his son too. By the look of your picture, you look like dude big brother Bruce (Spence Moore ll) on the black version of wonder years. The one who made it back home from Vietnam.
First song played on the first episode of Miami Vice. Claim to fame!
Im dreaming to meet guys like this all over again so sweet nice pleasant memories!!🤗🤗🤗🤗🤗🤗🤗🤗🤗🤗🤗🤗🤗🤗🤗🤗🤗🤗🤗🤗🤗🤗🤗🤗
Saw this group in a small nightclub in Dallas, Texas in the early days of their careers. Baby, they turned the Mother out! By the time they sang "Surrender" my table of all women were waiving our white napkins in total surrender! They JAMMED!!!!
ahhhh yes. It's 2020 and this jam still kicks AZZ. The 1980's forever. 💪💪👌
It's so funny that almost EVERYONE who was around when the song came out remember it from Miami Vice. Those were the days! I was a sophomore in high school and Miami Vice was the show back in the day. The songs were great in that show. The pilot episode had this song, Miss You by The Rolling Stones, Girls Just Wanna Have Fun by Cyndi Lauper, All Night Long by Lionel Richie and In The Air Tonight by Phil Collins which was the perfect lead in to the solving of the case in the end.
+Karen McDade I was in elementary school,5th grade to be exact, This 'lil dude dropped his pencil and he reached to pick it up and my cuz shouted "gon get it girl" I'll never forget dat!
Karen McDade
I had no idea it was on Miami Vice😂😂😂
Karen McDade I agree 100%
@@sherwinfitz it was the pilot episode.
Im 15 and just started watching Miami vice and the first question I had was, “ Where the fuck is the club song?!” Have this song in my head all day!
the Deele was Cincinnati's gift to the music world

You aint never lied seen them on Soul Train 1983
The Deele is the real deal. This band made tight-ass grooves. Material Thangz is probably my fave track.
You crazy
BODY TALK!!! My son has been working out since COVID-19. I told he looking good. Then I started singing this to him. I was like this is BabyFace first group... Old Skool Chick ...that's me !!💖👍
The Prince sound was EVERYWHERE!!!
This Group dominated the R&B pop scene back in the 80's
Ida Knows about dominated. Whatchu know about The Gap Band, Dazz Band and Lakeside?
No, but the members LA Reid and Babyface almost did. Definitely those two, Prince and Jimmy Jam and Terry Lewis.
L.A. & Baby in their infancy. LUV THEM.
It's weird how their careers mirrored that of Terry Lewis and Jimmy Jam.
Club jam here. 24 at the time🎸🕺💃
This was my JAM back in the day..!!!
Penny Pinkston I live for the funk..
Mine 2 baby doll
Hell! this shit! still is the JAM! 😍 Body Talk

Really, 39 and you old. Lmao Wait til you get in your 50's, you may wanna die then, 39 going into your 40's is still relatively young, you better get in better shape and enjoy it before it's gone.

You still looking good babe.

You still can enjoy the music. Because this is REAL MUSIC!!

So true
This was the jam back in the day this is music people.
Yep and no room on the dance floor! Remember how we went to the club clean and ready to jam. No standing on the wall, no jeans or sneakers and most importantly NO CELL PHONES ! The goal was to sweat your perm out! Not take selfies and send instagrams. Your memories is what you had.
Absolutely off the chain!!!!✌🏾😍😎
