So if he were good he wouldnt even be close to losing. And its clear he played like shit if u have atleast some decent knowledge of pvp in the game.

Well, both times that soda reserved against you was because you were on roots, which pilav use gnome racial to clear. He also has storm bolt and spell reflect, so he can assert much more pressure on the druid. You didn't had any of that, so of course that soda was MUCH more free to do whatever he wanted on the match than this druid.

How does that have anything to do with "pay to win" though. Pay to win means he's spending real life money to have an overt advantage over other players. And even if the definition of pay to win meant "getting gold from other players" he doesn't really use that gold to get an advantage over other players. He's obtained most if not all of his gear from raiding if i'm not mistaken.
I get where you're coming from but I just dont think that it's an advantage or that pay to win is even the right word. Cosmetics and mounts aren't an advantage in the game, and technically he is getting it legit without spending real life money, so, I don't see the issue. He doesn't have any advantage over Pilav in pvp, which is what the main comment is about. Also, I wouldn't call a character boost a pay to win feature, it's more of a pay to skip content or pay to get to end game. You aren't "winning" against other players by choosing to boost your character and skip content. I would even argue you're giving yourself a disadvantage by boosting.

Druids can just quickly switch forms to remove slows, so if this druid really wanted to get away he would have no problem.

Well, both times that soda reserved against you was because you were on roots, which pilav use gnome racial to clear. He also has storm bolt and spell reflect, so he can assert much more pressure on the druid.
You didn't had any of that, so of course that soda was MUCH more free to do whatever he wanted on the match than this druid.

How does that have anything to do with "pay to win" though. Pay to win means he's spending real life money to have an overt advantage over other players. And even if the definition of pay to win meant "getting gold from other players" he doesn't really use that gold to get an advantage over other players. He's obtained most if not all of his gear from raiding if i'm not mistaken.
I get where you're coming from but I just dont think that it's an advantage or that pay to win is even the right word. Cosmetics and mounts aren't an advantage in the game, and technically he is getting it legit without spending real life money, so, I don't see the issue.
He doesn't have any advantage over Pilav in pvp, which is what the main comment is about.
Also, I wouldn't call a character boost a pay to win feature, it's more of a pay to skip content or pay to get to end game. You aren't "winning" against other players by choosing to boost your character and skip content. I would even argue you're giving yourself a disadvantage by boosting.
I dont care about hes Pve status, and the fact he's fanbase gives him rare stuff for free and bunch of gold He's been boosted hard in PVP back in the days arena and rbg . Maybe that druid just has a different playstyle than Soda? Or maybe Pilav was controlling him in the duel so he wasn't able to play how he wants to? Asmon is assuming the druid is bad just because he let Soda do everything he wanted to in their duel without countering it at all. Obviously if you don't counter or put up any resistance they'll just play however they want to, and you let him do it.
