What a rich voice she has. I always thought Romania only had Angela Gheorghiu but then I discovered Valentina. She is fantastic and the singing in her native language is so beautiful. Beautiful. Stunning! You should listen to her signing with Dmitri Hvorostovski! It is amazing.
My apologies to the Republic of Moldova for mistakenly referring to Valentina as Romanian. She is a fantastic singer, especially when accompanied by Rusanda Panfili. At least Moldova and Romania are neighbours that produces world class musicians and singers. It is like Poland with Zbiniew Preisner. Something very deep in the culture of Eastern European nations.

They are Romanian 100% , except the Russians leftovers which dream of unification with Russia( in their dreams) . Moldavians speak Romanian and learn Romanian language in school . Actually , most of them can apply for an Romanian passport and get it very easy , because .... they are Romanians.
