This song ministered to me in a very dark time in my life. My son died from cancer at the age of almost 6. I've sang in the church since I was young and its my favorite thing to do. One morning, I had just told God I didn't even feel like singing anymore, then I turned the radio on, and this song started. I cried so hard that day. He spoke directly to me. Praise God. I'm still singing!
I had some big issues with my friends, and all I used to pray about was them. It never occurred to me that I was not doing what God wanted me to do. Until after I heard this song. Before I listened to it I flipped in my bible and one of the verses said " Anyone that becomes a friend of the world, becomes an enemy of God." After I listened to this song I understood. I need to put my struggles behind me and worship God. I truly love God, and I need to prove it.
My mom just died today. This song is the only thing carrying me right now. Thank god she is in heaven! I'll see you soon mama

Whenever I face hardship, I listen to this song and think my pain will go away I will be ok. I remind myselft that the pain will go away and the joy will come. Thank you very much for making this inspiring song.
I was very encouraged by this, and it reminded me that God is faithful and can't deny Himself. It's easy to forget how close God is, and how He speaks to us and sustains us in so many ways. Thank You Lord for going through so much for us, so that you could know what all of us go through, and give us victory by faith in You!

I love this song. So much is going on right now and I listen to this and it just reminds me, the best has yet to come. My best friend won't eat, my close friend is harming herself, my uncle has 2 weeks to live. My parents marrige is on the rocks, my brother has Autism. I know so many people have it so much worse, it's just hard for me to stay sane. This song reminds me life is beautiful. Thank you Lord, and God Bless You All.

This is the kind of song we need to remember when we go through tough times. I prayed loud and at the sky for the Lord to take the pain from my heart. I begged and plead to help me feel whole again. After work, I rode home and this song came on. First time I've heard it. Brother Earl, this song has definite meaning to me. I would like to share this with my congregation during praise and worship, but we don't have internet so I can't show it this way. I would love to be able to burn it to a DVD. Is that possible on here? Please let me know as soon as possible. God has healed me of Thoracic Outlet Syndrome which has prohibited me being able to sing and play my guitar on our Praise and Worship team. Through faith and prayer I was healed this am. I want to play this

@MidnightsDarkAngel not anymore? If you just want to get through the day, this might help, but what about tomorrow and the following days? A deep relationship with God changes everything. He gives you a new beginning and an everlasting hope that after our suffering here on earth, we will be with Him in paradise, no more sadness, no more just-barely-getting-through-the-day dilemma, just forever joy and gladness. There is no other way but Jesus.
@paranoidude Also a lot of people have forgotten what being a christen is all about in my opinion. I have seen the people who attend church everyday but it doesnt mean they are actually trying to follow the path. Also some of the things in the bible and things that can be taught at church are bonkers but if you have the intellegence and heart to look at the right parts then you got it right. Such as, I do not believe that a person who sleeps in a bed where a women had her period should be killed

@paranoidude God is about doing the right thing. Not about begging and doing nothing its about pushing on and trying hard. Also one thing dont get about athiest is that you dont goto an athiest country such as north korea. And, christen is about treating others how you would like to be treated, and try to do what Jesus would do. Such as
not commenting like this when it can offend a person. A child could read it and then be lost. You have to think ahead. I agree with you that we do need to act.

@paranoidude I learned is not actually about all that it seems its. Its not about praying constantly and its not about doing certain things and if you dont you are sent to hell.
It is about treating your fellow neighbor how you would like to be treated, and to try to be like jesus. I mean the bible does have its falses but you have to give it a break since the people who wrote it didn't grow up in our time. And being a christen, I am not going to tease you but just try to do what jesus would do

@paranoidude And (sorry I'm so talkative) Jesus was often condemned by the Jewish religious leaders for not obeying the laws of Moses. Laws that were neccessary in the time of Moses and the old testement days became unecessary after Jesus's victory over death. Some (like the period thing) are even further uncessary with the invention of pads (thank God). As Christians, we have to figure out what to focus on. Just clarifying. I'm not trying to convert you or whatever... =)
