      For sure - facebook was caught watching users with app open - pretty sure I did a video years ago on the story (if still on YT).

    i feel that all over the world privacy is at risk, however i believe that in the long term we will see better and more IoT and privacy laws, the students and children of now understand and grow up with the internet, they will be able to better decide what is best for the internet, privacy will always be a something we have to fight for

      also the internet is getting more and more diverse, not only in technologies and protocols but also options, the fediverseis getting more and more mainstream, i2p is growing, self hosting is getting easier and easier, linux is getting more and more mainstream and popular, it will always be a fight but there are so many options!!!
