  • Tresca on Hanover Street has a new menu, new atmosphere, and new chef. But owner and Boston Bruins legend Ray Borque is still there (and he's still obsessed with pasta).

My 60th birthday yesterday, my daughters brought me to my favorite restaurant Tresca. We had some nachos a few orders of meatballs to start and an antipasto plate. Then enjoying a couple of bottles of Pinot Noir we had individual main courses. Some veal specials, a seafood Divialo and a couple of veal Milanase. Had some desserts from sorbet's to dessert platters with tiramisu and cannolis and finished with some cappuccinos and espressos. Being from NH we don't get down very often and when Chef Rich stopped by we found out heard his family are from our home town. It made everything seem sort of full circle and has left me with a lasting memory! 5 stars!

I love these places, they come off like they care so much about the customer.
But when it really matter, in the kitchen, they're still cooking your meal on garbage
dollar store aluminum frying pans. You know, the frying pans you threw out because
aluminum is suppose to be unsafe.
