What works for me to I dont loose to much fluid or make a huge mess, is a tire valve stem through the brake hose. Seals it right up so you domt have drips
anyone else getting a bit of a throwback to when ken block had the little neon green on his sti back in the day ahaha. but i am a big fan of the fresh look of the calipers!!!! now convinced me to do that for a vid on my bugeye aha
I'm running a 2009 wrx hatch in the UK. You guys in the US are so lucky because your wrx comes with the sti body. In the UK a wrx has the slim body panels, only if we buy a sti do we get the wider body. I'm pretty sure that I would sell one of my kidneys too own your build. If only I could time travel back and put this build in the head of the guy who thought 🤔 new wrx hatch 🤔🤔🤔 💡💡💡💡💡, & we shall call it throtl. The best thing I ever could have done for my car was replace all of the suspension bushings, engine/trans mounts, etc. I added these badass billet aluminum eBay strut tower braces and my car drives and handles so much better. I hope you guys replaced all the bushings in this car! 2008 was a long time ago to very likely still be riding on the same bushings.
You guys should invest in a powder coat gun you guys would get a long lasting results and also you can shoot while a car is right beside and it wont stick on the car just a little wash and car is clean. Love the color match tho 👌🏻❤️ im sending in love to you guys and alot of respect for those build you do 👏🏻👏🏻
Instead of spending a fortune on replacing my engine splash guard and wheel well liners, I looked at the AirDam sheets (used to build ducting for race cars), and found out what kind of plastic it was, looked around elsewhere for cheaper, and found Lowe's carries 4x8ft sheets of the same material for a fraction of the price. Then I used the old ones as templates and made my own guard and liners. So, just a hint guys, when you widebody a car like that, you can easily make your own inner fender liners and engine guards using this material. On Amazon, it's called AirDam, but you can get giant sheets of the stuff from Lowe's. It's like a 1/8" thick sheet of heavy duty black plastic.

That do it yourself quick paint booth is legit. You should also try and add a mini rotating cake stand when you do that so you can rotate the part your painting without touching it with your fingers ! 👌🏻 Great content as always !

Next time you take off calipers just run an old (or new) tire valve stem thru the opening on the brake hose. It'll stop the brake fluid from leaking everywhere and you won't have to deal with having to bleed the system as long.
STOPTECH FTW i have their drilled and slotted rotors and sport pads and I love them! They do make a noise as air passes through the holes it’s weird lmao

That torque strut mount ideally should be plastic. Its made to break in the case of an accident and allow the motor to move back and avoid damage.
