My Dad used to talk of his days singing with The Warriors and he often mentioned their drummer, Ian Wallace...I really didn't know how good he was until I heard this beautiful rendition of one of my favourite King Crimson tracks :)
I know I know crimsoners will say I am crazy but this is better than original....First time I listened to starless when I was in London, boarded on the ferry from Blackfriers to Chelsea. It was sunny beautiful day...the story began.
De todas las versiones habidas y por haber que escuché de este tema de los KC, creo, sin duda alguna, que esta tiene un algo sublime y especial que la diferencia de todas las demás, excepto de la orinal. Es un gran trabajo de adaptación, merecedor de todas las buenas críticas. "LONG LIFE TO THE KING".
Ce titre me rappelle cet ami musicien, par ailleurs homme estimable qui me disait après ingestion de trois verres de Gigondas qu'il croyait très fort à l’arrogance, haïssait l’idée de soumission, d’humilité, et que s'il fallait subir une forme de contrainte ou de dictature, il préférerait toujours qu’elle soit exercée par l’élite musicale ou sociale plutôt que par la masse. On peut discuter avec l’élite. Avec la masse, c’est impossible, elle parle trop fort... This trio is breathtaking !!!!
