- Hello Friends welcome to my channel Mother's recipe Today I shared a millet recipe with you all so here I am sharing some basic knowledge about millet. Hope you all find it useful 🙏
There are two types of millet
Major millet and Minor millet
Major millets are jowar, bajra and ragi.
Minor millets are foxtail,little, kodo and barnyard.
Millets are rich in fibre,protein, vitamins and minerals. Millets are naturally gluten free. The potential health benefits of millet include protecting cardiovascular health,preventing the onset of diabetes, helping people achieve and maintain a healthy weight and managing inflammation in the gut.
Remember to soak it overnight before cooking to lower its antinutrient content. Soaking the millet overnight ensures that you break down the phytic acid in them so don't forget to soak millet overnight or 8 to 10 hours. You may also toast it in a pan before cooking to enhance its nutty taste. Hope you all find it useful .

Ma'am 3 to 4 hours is enough

No jaggery is not unhealthy dear but if you don't like khatta mitha taste you can skip it 😊🙏

in Maharashtra and Gujrat, mostly people like sweet and sour dhokla.. but if you don't like sweet taste you can avoid gud
