  • Following the Manchester Square Gardens Development Project on First Street. One of many development projects across the city in recent years, enhancing the capacity of residential accommodation and shaping the skyline for years to come.
This video filmed in the beautiful blue hour phase of sunset captures the current project completion as of March 2024, from a variety of perspectives. At this point, the buildings are really taking shape and moved on significantly from E66

I love walking home in the evening and seeing the tall buildings. Manchester has become beautiful. I like that it's all in such a relatively small footprint so that I can cross the City if I want to on foot,

Read a comment on one of the forums from a Birmingham resident, he described Mcrs skyline being flat an small, bet he wishes Brums skyline looked as flat an small

      Fast becoming a standout skyline.

People of Birmingham are always commenting about how Manchester is small and their skyline is more impressive…..I reckon it’s just down to jealousy. I told one commenter to come back when his city was no longer insolvent - maybe a bit harsh, but if you’re going to dish it out, be prepared to take it. 😂🤣

@@rufdymond Birmingham City Centre after it's recent total rebuild is now more impressive mate than Manchester and Brummies are not jealouse but a lot of us think Mancs are jeolouse of Birminhams position of second largest City by trying to make the City of Manchester sound bigger by trying to include towns and Cities in Greter Manchester that have nothing to do with the City of Manchester, The thing is the City of Birmingham is NOT insolvent, the City it self is propering quite nicely, it is the City Council which like a lot of other Councils that declared bankruptsy and is slowly climbing back

Birmingham was never in the conversation. That being said; I think Manchester is getting uglier: while they are building is boring glass buildings.

Yes it's one of the better new builds in Manchester, but as with so many of the new towers in Manchester and Salford it looks like an office development rather than a housing structure.....absolutely brillant footage thank you so much !
