- In another exciting trip with Dan, he thinks he can talk his way into Atlanta to make some touch and go’s in the Lockheed 12. With the entire country shut down and nothing else to do... why not ;-)
Love the video . That's got to be the best looking plane in the air. Takes my breath away every time I see it.
Good stuff, Glenn You guys crack me up. Dan is the Bob Euker of aviation
I was the Stationair 343 in the air yesterday going to PDK, I was listening! Thanks for the video!!!
yep, beautiful day to fly. Thanks,
Glenn Hancock, good to know there is another Hancock aviator in Georgia!!
I really enjoyed your video and a big thanks to both of you!!
Maybe it's my old ears, or my headphones, but the hum of the engines on your Electra is a beautiful sound. They sound identical, and you're able to keep them in perfect sync. I'd guess that you can feel them as well as hear them.
Nothing at all against the Beech, but the Electra is humming like two tone generators.
Thanks again . . great video!

Enjoyed this video! Dan’s original plan was ambitious but highly unlikely at ATL. It would have been fun to see though. It seems Jacob can sleep through anything.
Glen, Excellent video. Too bad they didn’t cooperate on your request at Hartsfield.
Quite a number of years ago a friend were flying in the Chicago area late one night and we contacted the tower at O’Hare and asked if we could stay in the pattern and do a few touch and go’s on 32L.
It was after midnight, no arrivals or departures going on and they, surprisingly, said yes.
We were in a 172. I did 6 touch and goes...three on each approach ( 32L is about 11,000 feet of concrete) my friend did his one at at time for a total of 6 approaches and touch and go’s.
The controllers actually invited us to come back again. We didn’t ever get the chance to do it again, but it’s in my log book and was fun.
What would have been the reply if "request clear for the option" instead of initial contact discussing a photo op request the clearance for the option for. Request left hand closed pattern for required training purposes.
What fun!
This was awesome, I really thought he was gonna pull it off. That was still great at the alternate location 😆
Atanta Tower we’d like to declare 3 Emergencies please, all T&G’s....... Solved!!!
That's pretty horrible that ATL controllers were being that way during that time. I was on the tarmac at EWR during the same time, and NY controllers were being super accommodating to GA pilots making their bucket list landing...honestly, shame on the ATL controllers! NYC controllers actually showed their humanity during this time. #smallplanesmattertoo
Your best video yet! Also a thumbs up to your reply to Mr Starr. Some folks are wrapped entirely too tight
I'm sitting at home too, how come you guys didn't call me?
C130? 😲
Yeah I thought the same thing. But at least that guy was nice. The other prick that came on was nothing but rude.
@@nizexlizzy ha ha. The prick from New York
Looks like a bored passenger in the back.
lol, yep, he wants to be up front. Doesn't like people taking his seat.
19.34 left wing stalled a little
Not sure how you’d assume that from watching a video but I seriously doubt it. I was well above stall speed and had hardly any stress on her coming around, ie: I wasn’t pulling back much. Granted, not exactly a good pattern but the tower wanted us down quick because they had someone coming in behind us. Anyway, thanks for watching.
