I took time out of my day to design a keymapper for WSA called Wmapper... and now they removed android support? Truly sad and idk what microsoft is doing
There is Google Play Games for Windows, but it doesn't have allot of games that the Android version has. I agree that is a possibility that Google may kill it off if it isn't doing well
The repo is just boilerplate, only for issues and feature requests Really wish they open source WSA, it will allow for the community to continue the project in some way
@@700gsteak it is still a stupid decision to kill such a promising thing. They could've just host the apps themselves and start integrating more Microsoft software in the subsystem, which could've eventually lead to .NET framework for Android as an example.
@@LilPersey I bet they couldn't get Google's approval for the project that's why they chose Amazon. Also, killing a good project will just cause Windows 11 to lose even more users, since it was advertised heavily as a major feature of it.
@@NiffirgkcaJ true, that's the only reason I also bought a new 💻, I use WSA now & then. Especially for streaming apps like CloudStream as there aren't many movie apps for pc 😑
In my opinion, Microsoft did this before introducing its new surfaces on March 21. Surface Pro 10 with Snapdragon x elite. a powerful arm based system . They are probably afraid that Android will be used more in their system 😂 .
really sad day for me...WSA was kept up to date with the latest OS version and security updates. Other emulators are all outdated and not as trustworthy. Maybe I go back to chrome OS if google also kills their emulator. But I will miss the Windows desktop.
I am still waiting for CTT WinUtil Windows 11 debloated ISO tutorial by you Sir. And how to use it with RuFuS / Ventoy for further installation of Win 11 on PC. And i also want to know by using CTT WinUtil for Micro Win does it use Cloud to convert the ISO or just the script does everything on the PC and internet is just needed to run the script for Micro Win ?
I hardly got chance to try it.. They make the installation so complicated that u really need a RUclips tutorial to install it.. Also not every country can access the Amazon app store

It failed to gain much traction and ms saw it would take too long to EEE the google play store with it.
