When she starts describing Jamie’s hair color and realizes she can no longer refer to him or his hair in the present tense, that’s the one that gets me 😢.
For me it's her empty face, devoid of emotion, heavily pregnant and very, very alone when Frank calls her from downstairs. Shatters me :( .

The scene where Jamie falls to his knees always breaks me. Add on Claire's heartbreak and beautiful song....Just can never stop the tears watching this. 😥

That was the one episode I cried the most in.....the way Jamie's face just falls when he thinks he sees Claire at Lallybroch.......way to tear my out, Sam :( :( !

Megan Lo Brutto ...you are not joking...reading all eight novels, third, no fourth time in 4 years...waiting patiently for No.9, Diana...please!!!!! Read the Lord John novels about to get 1,2,3 seasons on DVD ALL AT ONCE N HAVE A MONTH LONG BINGE...ONLY SAW 3 episodes last year, as dont have cable or sat and dont want it. CANNOT wait, but I will n it will be that much Sweeter! Her characters are unbelievably so true to life...esp Aunt Jocasta and later on with Lord John and Harold Grey. Love love love to go along with Ian as he grows up into a man and falls in love...Claire n Jamie, well, their lives just deepen as life does at this age with kids n family. Historically the books are so informative about the customs of the time...cannot say enough except to say HURRY DIANA, WE KNOW IT WILL BE GREAT...🤗😁😉...SHE DID SAY 2018 OR 19!!!
Wouldn't hate to admit that. Early season 1 is my favorite part but it's so hard to watch because I feel so sorry for Frank. His wife gets taken away from him just as they're rediscovering each other, he frantically searches for her, thinks she's dead, finds out he can't continue his lineage, only for her to come back three years later in love with someone else and pregnant with a baby that's not his, trying to support her through trauma he doesn't understand, and living an empty marriage for a child he loves but can never escape the fact he's supporting a family that isn't his. The only thing I can say he did wrong was distancing and detaching himself from Claire but even then she did the same thing. Neither of them tried hard enough to make their relationship work after everything.

I have to agree this show has changed my life when I started to watch it and read the books I know everything comes to an end but I wish it wouldn't I solve this wonderful and amazingly put together this is the one true story of our time
I know what it's like to be in love with an idea. The idea of Jamie Fraser is in my heart. I'd give anything to be able to wake up in his arms; to live, laugh and love with him. I know he's fictional. But a woman can dream, can't she?

My heart just broke again! 😢 What an amazing job you did. I feel so bad for Frank, I really do. He loves Claire, it's not his fault his ancestor was an a**hole. I wish he would've tried harder to keep Clarie in the present with him. I feel like he held so much resentment towards her, that it made it impossible for them to even be a little happy together.
His ancestor was dead, his older brother Black Jack was evil asshole.

No he wasn't He was cruel , unfaithful ,racist and a fucking bastard.He did not raise Bree as his brcause he loved her.It was the perfect way to revenge Jamie and Claire.I do not feel sorry for him at all.
I believe Frank lost Claire before she even met Jamie. She was changed when she came back from the war. She couldn't leave the strong woman behind and Frank didn't like that.

I am on the fence concerning just how much Claire actually loved Frank after she came back from the war..That is even before she was dropped into 17th century Scotland, and found her soul mate in Jamie..This might sound weird but I have only watched Clare and Franks storyline once ,and if I go back and re-watch it is only with Claire and Jamie..I just don't feel the connection between Claire and Frank simply because Jamie was Claire's soul mate and love of her life..

This broke my heart for the 3 of them. When Frank said “ we will raise this child together with a father, a living breathing man”. Knowing he can’t give Claire a child and raising his wife’s husband’s child. He really stepped up and raised Brianna as his and loved her a lot even when she is spitting image of Jamie. And knowing his wife is in love with another man.
Claire going back to Frank being pregnant and in love with another man. Grieving Jamie. Frank doesn’t get much credit for how he was with Brianna and Claire after what happened between the two of them. Claire wanted to call Brianna Brianna, she wanted to put Jamie’s fathers name in her daughters name.. she can’t look at Brianna without seeing Jamie and she can’t fall back In love with Frank. She couldn’t let go off Jamie. And frank knew this. Being a parent isn’t just about making the child or carrying/giving birth to the baby it’s about what you give to that child and Frank did this. Frank was her true father.

No need to tell Claire and Jamie separation is sad . But to me what is the saddest is frank . Especially how his life ended . I Mean at the end he was finally prepared to start a new life with an other woman . But he had no chance and died . To me all his life he loved and try to be loved by a woman who couldn't forget his past lover even worst with Brianna to raise even though he loved her like his own .
Frank made his own mistakes, they all did and all paid the price.

Lena Ni Rinn There is a passage in Book 1 where Claire realizes this. I believe it occurs after Black Jack tortures Jamie at Wentworth. From that point on, the reader realizes what you have just asked. However, when Jamie sends her back through the stones, she realizes she must make this sacrifice for Jamie and his wish for his child to be the last bit of him to survive. He has promised her before Culloden when she reacts to the gunfire of war that she will never be alone again. She promises him she will go back if/when the time ever comes.They are both "dead" for the next 20 years, but they discipline themselves to carry on for the sake of each other and the child they have created together. That they find each other again is truly a miracle.
