Excellent video. Everyone installations methods are a little different, but I did learn some things from your video. I hadn't heard of GrafiWrap before. I am going to get some samples from you and try it.
My sister has her VW Bug wrap in this decorative floral pattern. She washes it with a regular car wash solution. I think it should be done with a wash solution made for vehicle wraps. I only found these 2 companies out there. Could you possibly tell me your professional opinion? Crystal Tek Wrap Guard Products
yes, you can buy many type of vinyl wrap such as glossy, matte, chrome, gold, 2D, 3D, 4D, chameleon, even camouflage. try search google image to find out more :)
good work on the wraps, but here is south africa i find the grafitack vinyls dont last as long in the sun as compared to the avery and hexis.3M is way overpriced, but its all up to what the client is willing to pay for.
I've seen some videos talking about that. Apparently the wrap makes imperfections REALLY obvious, and overall looks pretty untidy. Those same guys have to patch up every tiny mark before starting to wrap it.
Im doing a wrap with chrome, the car has a bodkit with very deep slots on the front bumper, could use some tips on this, any help would be great on how best to tackle this job.?
I wonder how much of the the paint and clear coating will be damaged when you remove the film, all these cutting at edges, puncting bubbles, i dont thing it does not affect the paint. Also agree with other commets that a panel at time would be much easyer to do.
If the wrap is done correctly then there will be no damage at all as no cuts or punctures are performed directly to the cars original finish, only to the vinyl itself.
Chrome is much less conforming than the wraps you see applied here, in fact it's the least conforming wrap you can do. What you will need to do on your bumper is poke a hole through the wrap in the center of the air dam, then use heat to soften and push it in. If you manage to get a neat edge, remove outer film and apply knife-less cutting tape 1/8th inch around inside edge, then apply a separate piece to complete inside of air dam (if not trim the edge first).
I am not sure if there is wrap strong enough against constant strain it would get from shoes, I doubt that. If there was wrap in that caliber it would probably cost 100x more than the shoes with wrapping.
• what is the editing program that is used to design and place graphics on a template to be printed? • what kind of printer is used? ink? wonderful and informative presentation! thanks!
jinzo0121 with cheap vinyl and shit or friend fitters you can have it done for about 500, 20m of vinyl for a regular car + labour. If you have never done it don't do it yourself as youre going to waste 50m+ and the result are going to be FUNNY ;)
in a perfect world i'd want you to be always right but i've seen too many examples when the 'poking' hasn't been done with appropriate consideration, especially along the shut lines.
+Mäu you should be able to control your squeegee strokes and movement so you wont get any trapped air. and if you do, i'd rather try to push the air out slowly with a finger. but yea, these quite a small change that you'd poked the paint as well.
looks like a skilled wrapper however these days if you get a job as a fitter you are expected to do like 2 vans a day with 2 people which is not so pleasant any longer... you rush, you fuck up... that's why i quit after like nearly 5 years of doing this... also if you are working on a team with other people and you're quicker than others you end up doing twice as much work as others for the same money.. that's the reality
wenn ich sehe wie die Folieren und verspannungen in der Folie rein rakeln wird's mir schlecht! Vor allem die vollflächige verklebung einer kompletten Seite macht man nur bei strukturfolien totaler Murks.... Blasen ausstechen trotz Rapid Air omg

Wait a minute...did I just hear the narrator say to heat the film to 350 C? And that that's equal to about 90 deg F?? Yes I did. It must be a mistake, because you'd absolutely melt the film at 350 C and the paint too.
Ron, he said set the temp of the heat gun to 350. That's why the thermometer was shown at the same time with the film temp approx 90-100, not enough to melt either.
As awesome as it looked, you can't wrap aircraft. A non-flying museum piece, sure, but not one the requires the stringent inspections of a fighter jet.
Absolutely worth every second of viewing, brilliant detailed tricks of the trade, and important instructions, thank you so much ... cheers Glenn.S
Excellent work guys, attention to detail and process. Wish I seen it before I tried it on my car.
Awesome...the 1st proper car wrapping vid on RUclips, thanks Grafityp
The best, most detailed wrap video I have seen.
finally someone who talks about doing the damn thing instead of a mute slideshow of pics of a car being wrapped
watch CK wraps he will show you how to do it properly for a high quality long lasting wrap
Excellent video. Everyone installations methods are a little different, but I did learn some things from your video. I hadn't heard of GrafiWrap before. I am going to get some samples from you and try it.
on the trunk graphic, that material can stretch so much! usually it gets stretch marks or tears when putting it in grooves that deep
The BEST Tutorial I ever seen! GOOD JOB GrafiWrap! Will be sharing with all our costumers.
Brilliant presentation. Many thanks from Lismore NSW Australia
I am truly amazed, done correctly I'm sure you'd never tell.
Damn! Nice work on that Porsche 😎

Great video. Well done!
Amazing Product "GrafiWrap" !!!
good work on the wraps, but here is south africa i find the grafitack vinyls dont last as long in the sun as compared to the avery and hexis.3M is way overpriced, but its all up to what the client is willing to pay for.
What about older cars with scratches and dings? Will a car wrap still work well?
I've seen some videos talking about that. Apparently the wrap makes imperfections REALLY obvious, and overall looks pretty untidy. Those same guys have to patch up every tiny mark before starting to wrap it.
+SeaJayBelfast matte colored wrap will fade minor imperfections
what kind of blower did they used?
Excellent tutorial. ..hope to do my Smart for two soon in chrome and if the wife will let me, our Qashqai. .....thanks....
And what is whith the bag and front by the Porsche

Very nice video.. not an easy task..
perfect and very helpful video! thank you
is it possible to remove the film once the job is done ?
you are the best thanks for making my day
How much does this cost to have done on a mk1 ford focus please
I warp opel corsa in carbon, usefull video! :) btw i work with film with no air cannels, nedle is solving that problem.
I would rather use plasti-dip. O...and the lines on the trunk door of the mini coop at 11:08 was screwed up
You just can't compare plastidip to vinyl wrap they are totally different products.
what is that orange device :)??? whats it called?
That is a heat sensor gun.
how long the plastic in the car?
Looks like something to get done by a pro instead of ruining it by doing it yourself.

Whats the difference between GrafiWrap and 3M and which one is better?
instaBlaster...
When you use a Fluke gun you are meant to measure the temperature of the vinyl not the temperature of the hot air coming from the heat gun....
Would this work on shoes like foamposite
I am not sure if there is wrap strong enough against constant strain it would get from shoes, I doubt that.
If there was wrap in that caliber it would probably cost 100x more than the shoes with wrapping.
Not the bottom part but it top upper mid part of the shoe I think any wrap will work ect plasti dip if done correctly and car heat wrapping
But u have to do it perfect
beatmyhigh score The wrap I have heated for work wouldn't work, but there may be stronger ones.
.. and what work you talking about shoes cars walls ect

wonderful and informative presentation! thanks!
that black is so beautiful, why change it?
Nice Tutorial. I can't make up my mind whether to try wrapping my old car or try Plasti Dip. local paint jobs quoted $2k-5k (no way).
Which media this
what is the name of the material used?
How much does a rap job cost? How long is it good for?
depends on the type of vehicle around £1000 - £1500

Interesting. Can I franchise?
good job guys and thanck you for video y are the best
poking a blade through the wrap to remove air bubbles? you're probably poking a hole in the paint too :-/
No, you just poke a little home in wrap to let the air out, the bubble pops with a little nudge from a box knife. It doesn't even touch the paint.
in a perfect world i'd want you to be always right but i've seen too many examples when the 'poking' hasn't been done with appropriate consideration, especially along the shut lines.
altern8ive Well yeah, that depends on the person. Has not happened to me yet.
+Mäu you should be able to control your squeegee strokes and movement so you wont get any trapped air. and if you do, i'd rather try to push the air out slowly with a finger. but yea, these quite a small change that you'd poked the paint as well.

Да! Это не на телефон плёнку наклеить :)
why would you do that to such a nice car?
my theory is people who can afford a car like that, can usually afford anything. Which means they get bored very easily.
or maybe you're just like trump and want everything to look Gold lol

amateur work.... too much stretching and too much heating..
Preferably done in a car wash? man...everytime I went to a car wash I would end up going home to wash it myself.

Planes and helicopters get wraps all of the time in Vegas.
obviously they can wrap an aircraft... since it was flying and it was wrapped. Surely the evidence speaks for itself... lmao classic.
Dude stuck a 250+ degree heat gun in between his legs?!
